Sneaking a third person into a hotel room...

Jump to newest

so we're setting up our first hotel meet with a single guy later this month... What experiences have people had with 'sneaking' a third person into a double room? Has anyone been challenged, or kicked out, or do most simply turn a blind eye?

Any particular chains of hotels to watch out for?

Doubt you will ever get challenged unless you make so much noise you get complained about. Most receptionists couldn't care less who's going in and out of the hotel

You pay for the room. Its only holiday hotel that worry about bfast etc.

As long as you don't have an orgy there, an extra person or two is no issue.

I had excellent fun getting a hooker couple in once. I forgot to give them my name so they weren't allowed through and the receptionist rang to ask if they should let through a couple who didn't know my name.

Slightly embarrassing, especially when I got a big wink as I checked out the next day. Didn't care though after the fun I had just had.

Book the room as double occupancy and get 2 room keys, saying your partner will be arriving later. Go to the hotel bar. Meet whoever it is there. Hand over 1 room key. Go to the room, wait for them to arrive. Easy.

This.

Also some hotels require your car registration, so don't forget to sign in both cars.

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

If you are a couple and feeling nervous then you can leave one of you in the room and the other can go collect the guest but we have found that as long as you pay for the room no one there really looks at who is going in and out

Check in and ask for two keys. Go to room, find the stationery set many hotels have and put room key inside with the name of the other "guest". Go to reception and leave the envelope and instruct your guest to ask for it when they arrive. I've done this many times. So many hotels now need a room key to use the lift, it's often the easiest way.

We have sneaked many people into a room... We always use a big chain where we wont be questioned.. Often meet in the bar and all walk up together.

I used to worry but have found the secret is to look like your meant to be there x

Pretty much this. We had a ffm last week in a hotel which had key card security doors, so I went downstairs to meet her. Walked right past reception and wasn't queried.

Just walk in with them and leave your partner to follow a few minutes later if you are worried. In reality its unlikley you will be questioned anyway.

We often do this and we've never had a problem. Usually have a drink at the hotel bar first, then just wander upstairs.

When we've got a big crowd, we've sometimes had a alibi. Once had 9 guys for a mini-bukkake in a room at the Travelodge in Acle. Someone told the receptionist it was a meeting of the Ipswich Town Supporters Club.

. You will just need to meet them at reception as most have swipe cards . I have never had any issues . I don't like knocking room doors just in case a mistake is made . I prefer to phone from outside the room.

Great advice already. Failing that, book to stay at an apartment - usually very similar price and receptionists always accept any additional guests, in my experience.

Have used hotels many times. Just check that you do not need an access card to use the lift or they have security men on the doors at night when you book. This has been the only times we have found it difficult and haven't been able to just walk straight in

In addition to all the good advice above, remember you've probably stayed in a hotel with friends/ family and had more than one room booked.

The hotel staff wouldnt think it strange when a group walks past chatting as happens all the time. they'll have groups, families, hen party's, stags etc walking past all evening.

Precisely this, we have stayed in a room for 3 many a times with a family member and obviously think anything of it which is why I think confidence is the key! Act like its totally normal and nobody notices xx

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Was at a social in Plymouth once and stayed at the Copthorn Hotel which is a bit more swish than the usual chains. I had gone to the room with a f.b. who lives locally so I could get changed. Meanwhile my roommate, another f.b. arrived and was on her phone asking what room we were in. She was on the phone shortly afterwards saying they hadn`t got a key as it`s already been issued! "Well that`s probably because we are in the room right now!" Didn`t notice any usual behaviour from the staff when I left shortly afterwards with two women!

Never had problems in any chain, usually just wander out to meet people as they text or if mobile reception dodgy arrange to meet in bar/lobby

Never trouble getting second key cards either, even when only just me staying for breakfast.

Have seen the odd stare when ferrying in camera gear before now though

One best western used to put me at end of corridor after a while, not sure if just because bigger room and a regular or ensuring not disturbing anyone.

Depends if you`re staying over! Some only book the room for the meet itself but I would say after the meet whoever is staying in the room overnight should be listed - one if it`s just you - two if it`s a couple!

I was staying in a budget hotel in London once and the receptionist tried to kick my meet out. I'd told her my room number and thought she'd come straight up but he stopped her. I went down and sorted it out but she wasn't allowed to stay the evening as I'd only registered one guest.

I think most larger hotels would be fine though.

You don't have to "sneak" people in to a hotel room. You're renting the room, you can have visitors, just as you can in your house.

Before swinging, I've stayed in many hotels on business, met colleagues/associates on numerous occasions, popped back to my room with them for a drink, chat, cuppa, and similarly visited other people in their rooms. It's perfectly normal.

It's the same when swinging, only you have sex too

Never had a problem in any chain. Ones withoutbsecurity I give room number and let them come up. Once had 4 single guys and a couple in the future Inn in Plymouth lol. If it has card security I ask for and extra card on checking and hide it outside so people can get in. First who arrives has to.go down and let others in lol. Works for me and never had any issues.
