Location help!

I want to allow my phone to give its current location so I can see who's near depending on where I am. I have a samsung phone. The first step it says is to press on a button at the bottom of the screen, which there isn't! Any ideas anybody?

Have you turned on your phones location?

I have the same problem. Sony Xperia L. Site supporter too and to my knowledge, location is switched on but no thing at the bottom of the screen to press

just had a quick check in my phones settings and gps was turned off.
