Giving Head - what point to cover up?

Sorry, newbie here.

What advice do people have on giving BJs in a club?

I love giving head, but not sure I want to suck on a condom. Then there are health implications.

Looking for people's preferences and opinions (as we are all different).

Do you get started and grab a condom halfway through? Or get safe from the start?

This swinging is way more complicated than I imagined!

I think u will find most on here do not cover up for a bj. Just go with the flow and do what feels right to u at the time

It's really up to you. I give oral without a condom, can't stand the taste of rubber, even flavoured condoms are awful.

At my last STD test*, the lady asked me if I used condoms for oral and when I said no she said 'no one does'.

*all clear, thank you for wondering.

Other people's opinions and preferences are irrelevant to you OP, you do what you feel is right by you to best fulfil your sexual health needs.

Thanks guys.

I would be happy to give head "naked" but not go all the way.

I have a good idea of the risks, but wondered what was more likely to happen in public.

Thank you all for taking the time to answer.

Some people do prefer to use condoms for oral.

Many state they'd rather not have a bj if it's covered, but when it comes down to it a lot of men are happy to be getting head even if it is covered.

Make your own choice and don't let anyone else bully/influence/pursuade/beg you into changing it if you're happy.

And certainly don't feel you have to do what the majority do.

Sti transmission through oral sex is fairly low risk. Hiv transmission is theoretically possible but as long as you have no open blood pathways (a cut or mouth ulcer) then realistically it's not going to happen. There is a strain of gonorrhea which is antibiotic resistant which can be caught orally and warts and herpes too. These usually have physical indications so get a good look at whatever you're putting in your mouth and don't be afraid to stop or ask or suggest a condom (I met a guy with lots of skin tags, they looked warts and he was perfectly happy to cover up and glad I asked about them instead of just stopping). There's a strain of hepatitis that can be transmitted via any bodily fluid, but your local clinic will give you a jab for that if you ask.

Above all be aware, don't be afraid to look or to ask any meet or to stop play or suggest a condom. If any meet is not happy with that then walk away.

Wisdom indeed.

My Own Little World

So is it more a case of not wanting the guy to cum in your mouth?

If that is the case then tell him when you start playing that he is not to cum in your mouth, but to warn you when he close so you can stop and find somewhere more to you liking for him to cum, boobs, facial etc.

The OP is clearly concerned and I am surprised/astonished she wishes to give O in clubs ; how on earth do you go from one cock to the next asking questions before/during??? It's totally undoable! How do you know where a cock's been just before it enters your (pristine) gob? Even if it hasn't been anywhere except stroked by his/a hand where have those hands been before you get your mouth around cock? Other threads discuss this anyhow. The longest reply above is very comprehensive and if you were to heed you would never go near a cock and you'd be inspecting your lips, palate, throat for cuts etc before every meet/cock. And you would also have to inspect every cock over and below foreskin - it's a minefield! To each their own. Hence I prefer one to one or MM+me meets at my place (but that is still no guarantee at all that cocks are "pristine". OP, if you re concerned, then review your expectations and all the best

I wouldn't use a condom for bj but If I was going to then you need to put it on from the start or no point at all.

Thank you very much to the person who decided to attack me in private message.

Just because I registered on this site 10 months ago does not mean I'm not *new*.

I've been in swingers and fetish environments but I've never participated in a swingers club.

I'm not going to apologise for asking questions I need the answers to.

Thank goodness everyone else is happy to share their experiences and wisdom.

The perfect solution.

Expectations adjusted.

I was more worried about the etiquette of broaching the condom subject if I decide I don't want to do oral without. I don't want to offend anyone.

It's a learning process. I've had some great answers and I feel happily prepared and hope to get some cock sucking action very soon.

Agree - whilst I think it's somewhat useful to know what are social norms, when out and about, safer sex practices are down to us individually.

Mostly know people who don't cover for oral.

You're supposed to put a condom on before any play at all for them to be effective.

The tip of the condom, (might be called a teat?) tends to be a choking hazard. I don't use them for oral.

this. If you put it on halfway through you may as well not bother.
