Deleted unread messages

Dear Admin, is it possible to mark messages as unread deleted?

Some people group delete and I can understand that but if we know there deleted it can clear up sent box.

Just a thought like.

Better idea.........just ignore your sent items box. It's the cause of so much angst amongst certain sections.

Agree I normally do ignore the sent box. Just a thought for site developers for service improvement.

Just sounds like over implication. It's been deleted, end of. Whether it's been read it not is irrelevant at that point

Yes agreed. Admin note... Just show message read or unread as deleted.

What would it add to your experience? They may have bulk deleted, or, as is also the case, checked a profile and decided not to bother opening the message. Either way, the outcome is the same

They could have also read the message while you were offline then set it to unread again afterwards before deleting it. Just because its been deleted "unread" doesnt mean its gone unread.

Also the system already exsists (at least on mobile) the message remains in yellow if its gone unread the subject line of the message as a line through it if deleted, so if the line is through the subject line of the message and it remains yellow then its been deleted as unread

Why you even looking at sent box, no answer is not interested, makes no difference if unread and deleted or read and deleted

Or.... Don't send messages.. Wait for the ladies to come to you..;-). If they've not received a message for a while they'll be gagging for one.. Treat em mean keep em keen

I have a simple Rule when messaging, If they dont reply within 3 Minutes that means they are Raving Rug Munchers so they are Blocked...Bitches

Or just delete it as you can often read a full message as loads are quite often....

"Meet now?"

"Hows you?"

"Fancy a shag?"

When the message starts so well! Most people will just delete anyway.

Mobile App shows if it's unread and deleted.
