CD, TV, TG or TS?

Its become very obvious to me since joing this great site that most of u have no idea what those terms actually mean....so here goes with a short explaination ..its not a comprehensive explanation but is one most Transgendered peopel would agree with:....

CD = crossdresser...someone who wears the underwear of the opposite sex for sexual reasons...usually their partners and in the cas eof men they are invariabvly not smooth..hairy panty wearers lol

TV = Transvestite...someone who gets sexual pleasure from touching the clothes of the oppsoite sex...realistcally a man who dresses as a woman for sex ...usually tries to be as convincing as possib;e

TG = Transgendered...(And this is ME) someone who lives and dresses as a woman but who does not take hormones or have any form of surgury to change sex totally

TS = Transexual...pre and post op...someone who is born into the wrong body..they go thru many procedures to become the opposite to their birth gender...a ts woman is to me a woman. more men change sex than women!

That's very useful so thanks for that Steph. I've had some great meets and a friendship with a TV on here (although think she is more TG having read your definitiions). It was like having the best of both worlds for me

Tried to message you privately but at the moment i dont have photos on my profile, anyway, just wanted to say thank you for your help, I guess i am quite naive and wasnt sure what each definition meant. I do understand a little more now. But i do still have a couple of questions. Can i ask what you get from living as a woman yet still being a man? And are Tv, TGs, CD usually gay or bi? i just dont quite understand it thats all. I hope my questions dont offend, thats not my intention, just curious about it all xx

No ofence taken huni...and i'll send u a wink then u can mail me ....as to the question of gay bi or str8 ..well most Tgirlz i know are bi ..some gay and a few str8...and im a mod on a Tgirl site with 100K menbers ..so i know a few lol

i have talked about this subject on forums on this and other sites , and one thing that is apparent is that even a lot of the TVs CDs etc are not sure what to exactly call themselves !

perhaps you could define what a T girl is please steph

a word that can be confusing for a lot of people INCLUDING ME is transgendered

as i understand it the word could apply (technicaly) to a bloke going fishing in the snow wearing tights under his trousers to keep warm

it would certainly apply to les dawson when he was dressed in drag

that definition of transgendered was from a person who runs one of the ( international ) tranny sites , im sure you know the one i mean

i am not in dissagreement with what you say i am only trying to broaden the debate

my interpretation is that a CD is a person that "sometimes" wears clothes of another sex , and a TV wears then "full time"

and that it is not necassarily for sexuall reasons

so there is a lot of confusion about lol

what would your veiws be on the less familliar terms "Androgyne" and "Genderqueer" ?

perhaps a solution would be to get away from putting people in pidgeon holes and simply puting on there profile the things they like to do etc

having said that it is convenient to have a general idea of a persons persona by the use of two letters !

I agree many Tgirlz dont really know what they are ..i use the term Tgirl to cover all ...and because i hate the word Tranny...

A tv is a sexual fetishist..they get sexual satisfaction from wearing womens clothes or vice versa...no Tv i know of ...and as u know i know a lot lol, is fulltime..that is transgendered imho..the fisherman or the builder wearing tights is not aTv as they do it to keep warm and not for sexual reasons...

My definitions are not wholly accepted in the Tgirl worlds ill agree but they do go someway to explaining to people who have no real idea of the differences ..it was meant more as a guide for them

Thought long and hard before contributing to this topic, so here goes.. apologies if we upset anyone we don;t mean to.

We've never been able to understand why some guys want to wear ladies clothing. Yes we do get the shall we say ladyboy side of it. In fact we find some of them quite beautiful. But then on the other hand you have the 6ft hairy docker type.

I kid you not with this one. There is one guy in Hull who wears white gloves and a long flowery dress and heels. Trouble is he is a heavy manual worker and has hairy arms and chin. Its that side of things we don't understand.

At the end of the day we only classify them into two groups, those with tackle and those who have had it removed.

We've met one or two of the ladyboy type and found them to be really nice non pushy, they are happy to use what they have or not, they leave that up to us as far as we want to go.

Then the other side of the coin the CD's or TV's the few we have seen at party's have been totally the other way, over the top pushy/look at me. Then only want to use their 'tackle' with Katee. No gentle approach just stockings and sussy with an erect cock, and try to shove it in her face. Then get the huff when she turns away and says no.

They want to dress like a woman but still use the penis they were born with!

I guess what we are trying to say is that just like single guys, some of them have the correct approach and some do not.Some of them need to work on their finesse

I know the sort u mean and yes their are some who are just perverts ..but that is common in all walks of life ...I for example cant go any further into transitionong due to medical problems ...and to be honest the hormones do mess up ppl's livers over the yrs ..but the drive to become who u are with Ts's will overwhelm any possible side effects ... I am who I am ..I identify as a woman ..and when i came out to the world a few yrs ago it was like a weight had gone ..i felt whole at last ..its not easy for many to understand but believe me if you felt like I and many other do you would comprehend..and we are not some small minority group either ...the site im a mod on has 100K members and thats just one of a few Uk sites ...worldwide the numbers run into the low millions...at the end of the day im happy and what more can u ask for eh !! Each to their own

Steph has talked masses of sense in this thread.

I call myself a T-girl but I don't mind others call me a TV or tranny though.

Like lots of us "girls", I started dressing because I find women's clothes sexy. They're designed to be that way after all. It's delicious to see and touch a (real) girl in stockings and silky lingerie, for instance, and real girls feel sexy when they wear these kinds of things too. So I started trying on stockings and sexy undies to see what it felt like....one thing led to another and now I just love going the whole way, taking care with my appearance and make up so that I look as feminine and convincing as I can.

It's lovely to go out as a girl just normally but it's also very, very sexy to have fun with others as a girl...best of both worlds, I suppose, in that I can feel like a sexy girl but use my body like a girl or a male. I think there's quite a lot of us girls feel that way.

Hope this has been of some help in giving some sort of insight.

For what it is worth I was straight with no inclinations until I divorced aged 41. For no obvious reason I tried gay sex and loved it. Very soon after I was asked to 'dress' and something said try it rather than run. I loved it and started dressing and felt I was at peace with myself. Very quickly it became much more about going out than sex and more about looking as good as I can. I cant go full time (at present) for fairly obvious reasons. I've been to see a gender specialist who believes Im androygne and can slip easily between m and f. Im bi but prefer sex when im Anna with a man. I guess Im moving more to being/ wanting to be full time or TG as you call it. i dont want an op but think about it and about having breasts which Id love. Im unlikely to do it. The most likely is to go out on my own n dress when I want - ie often but keep it discrete. So Im Tv going on TG by your definitions but prefer to think of gender as a spectrum.

I dont mind what people do but im not keen on spending time with HPWs hairy panty wearers who are doing it or sexual thrills- but good luck to them. I like my TV TG friends but only have sex with men. Gosh I'm such a mess eh? lol I just know Anna is my other side and a VERY big part of who I now am.

Ladyboys are generally taken to be Ts escorts tho ..Thai or Brazilian ..all the Ts's you see in porn if u like ...thats just my interpretation of the term tho!
