Tbh there's loads of reasons why someone would fall in love, and loads of reasons why someone would lie about it. Suppose you've got to weigh up which he is?

Always try and keep a distance until you have met them. You have to be so headstrong in this game. I regularly meet a guy and he was amazing from the moment we spoke and still is. But I always keep my feelings under check because it's not love xx

My dear friend,

Just becareful... perhaps he is genuine and legitimate, but keeping a distance until you actually meet him and go out a few times to reach a decision is not a bad approach. You don't want to be cheated or taken advantage of, and if he is genuine he will understand and even if it takes 50 no Sex meets he should be fine with it (ok I might be pushing it here, but you get the picture). The idea of being in love is wonderful and I wish only good things for you...but meet him in flesh first and assess his character before making your decision. Better safe than sorry. This is just my suggestion

I think it is more possible to fall in love with the idea of being in love with someone if you haven't met. Unless, of course, you are being played.

The real question is to ask yourself what do you want?

If you truly seek nsa, this person isn't it. If you seek more, why fuck on a first date? Why not just take it slow, and see how real the feelings are for each other.

Like Debs, I'm probably too cynical, but if it's love he will understand why you want the first meeting to be a little more special and will respect you enough to want to wait.

Good luck. Sounds like you both want the same thing, hope you feel the same when you meet and it goes well for you.

I can understand people saying hold back but go with the flow.

I fell in love with someone from here, but didn't want a relationship so did hold back from him but still met him for sex, he's in a relationship now, so was looking for more than i wanted on here. There are guys genuinely looking for relationships on here.

It's not impossible to find love on this site but not sure if you can do it without meeting the person first.

I met my partner through fab we met for a social meet and then decided to go on a date the next day as we got on so well. 2 weeks later I moved in we have been together coming up 19 months xx

My first thought is that he is not being truthful. But then again. My own brother in law met an American woman on the Internet. Fell in love. Went over. Got married. Two children and many years later. Still in love.

But then I also knew another woman who met a man online. He said he loved her. He flew over. They got pregnant. He went back. She never heard from him again.

So I would just say. Be very very careful.
