If you want to message would like to know how often you saw them, spoke to them, how you contacted them, did you have to pretend to be someone else, how did you make excuses to see them stuff like that?

I agree with this, don't let them or yourself think that it's anything but w bit of fun on the side, also codes are a good idea I.e I'm just chilling with my hubby, so they know not to message you. That's just an example most people would probably use more discrete codes but you get the picture. And as for how often, as often as you like just make sure you set some rules like no marking and keep it on your own terms

I'm married and for the last little while I've been fantasising about having an affair with an ex-girlfriend.

She wasn't wife material, but she was filthy in the bedroom. She wanted sex more than me, and that's saying something.

Anyway, I haven't seen her in years, but I'm always tempted to email her to get the ball rolling..

I've noticed a change in the forum now where people prefer others to be honest and don't slate them for it any more, it's got less judgmental on here lately. Same thing for the bareback topics as well.

I had an affair with a married man for 10 years. I actually went through two different wives. I was friends with hiss first wife so with him working long hours and me in 6th form it was pretty easy to arrange to meet him. My name was changed on his mobile to a work mates and because I knew his hours of work I knew when I was able to text him. I got to see him a lot even if it was just going to see my friend. Their relationship ended he was on his own for a while still seeing me then he met another woman got married. He went on his honeymoon day after he got back was sleeping with me. He disappeared about 5 years ago until last year when he contacts me to say he is leaving his wife.. I tell him I am happy and moved on next day he's sorting things out with her again. To have an affair you have to be strong and not let your feelings and emotions get the better of you. But it's hard saying that because there must be something there to start it in the first place. In my case I was the only one that landed up getting hurt. Even when his wife found out about us the first time she took him back and continued to play happy families while he was still in contact with me xx

Have been involved in many adulterous affairs, partly because I'm non-committal so the men expect nothing more from me than sex. Suits me.

I've been hurt once (when I was much younger) and had it also when a guy has left his wife and turned up with his kids on my doorstep.

You have to think - would you ever really trust a man who can't be truthful to his partner - and can you actually respect a guy who chooses to be in a relationship, with someone who probably doesn't have the same sexual drive/preferences as them?

I don't agree with affairs, if you're bored in a relationship you should discuss openly about the prospect of seeing other people, you never know your partner may also be bored and harbour desires of the same.

Without trust in a relationship you don't have much left tbh, I know as I've been on both sides of the fence and hence not in those relationships anymore.

RG and I have complete trust, she knows if she fancies someone she has blessing to peruse him and bed him if she desires, all I ask is she tells me the details. I also have the freedom to peruse other sexual partners so it works both ways.

Maybe its just me but I thought an affair was loving someone other than your partner but for whatever reasons you are unable to be with them in a normal.... whatever that is relationship

Sometimes people don't have affairs because they are bored. I was with a violent ex. I was desperate to leave. I couldn't see a way out. Then I met somebody, had an affair and moved in with him and got away. Nobody could find me.

I had another affair once. Again nothing to do with boredom.

I make myself sound terrible don't I lol.
