webcam not working in chat

Hi

Can anyone help me please I have got a webcam HP3100 that has worked in chat about 2 years ago. I am trying to get it to work now and it doesn't display the image in the "Your Cam" window. I have updated adobe flash player. I have allowed FAB access I have tried google chrome I have restarted my computer I have no other programs that I am aware of trying to access my webcam. Any ideas?
