Could be legit pics but not necessarily the person you were chatting with. Ex-boyfriend may have pics, for example.

Or she could have got cold feet.

Google reverse image search isn't infallible. There are plenty of fakes on here with images that have been doctored enough so they won't show in a search.

Your intuition will always be the most effective test. Still, you don't know that she was fake. She may well have just decided this wasn't what she wanted and that was that.

Best thing to do is forget it and move on.

It's never happened to me yet, but I'm sure it will. Tough when you were getting on so well though. Far easier not to get carried away until you've actually meet then face to face.

I think sometimes people get carried away with feeling they are able to chat and trust people - then later [even if they are chatting to someone trustworthy like yourself] they decide they just can't carry it through and leave... Better that way than some complete fake stringing you along to the actual meet time then disappearing

Hmmmmmmmmm....

We've all been conditioned to believe the world (read Internet) is a big, bad dangerous place....

So we dip our toe in...

Then we do so again.... And again, until one day we decide to dive in.

For some this process is shorter than others. Some people have a partner they can lean on, others a charge they take care of...

And there's always just good old fashioned changing your mind.

Happened to us Saturday evening except the guy hasn't deleted After near a year of him asking at the wrong times we finally got something sorted but then he vanished never logged on and still not even messaged to say sorry kiss my ass or anything One of fabs mysteries i am afraid no point trying to work shit out just put it down in the shit happens folder and move on
