what does amps mean please

It's possible the 'amps' you are referring to is a partly-broken HTML ampersand character '&'. The actual HTML code is '& amp;' (no space - otherwise it'll be displayed as &).

Or, it could be the driving force behind a rampant rabbit...

More likely, it's something completely different...

It is the "&" symbol - short for Ampersand

Parts of the site coding can't display it correctly and puts amp in after it.
