So, I ask you this... How does one get verified, if no one will meet you without a verification, if no one will meet you without a verification, how does one get verified.

well its not rocket science, or maybe it is to some people, go to a club or social and get yourself verified that way

Personally, I find long lists of veris a turn off, - if I met a girl in a bar & she produced a long list of veris from her handbag - (are you allowed to say handbag in today's PC world? -

) - I'd be getting out of there pretty sharpish!!

You have been on here three weeks and can't wait for a month for a social??! You have been given good advise but I doubt you will take it. I don't think you understand the lifestyle and just see this site as instashag.

Would that attract you to a profile?

What does it say about your effort?

Your profile is your "advert". People will judge you on this before deciding to even reply, never mind meet.

What is/are your USP(s)?

But don't sit there with your knob out, they cant exactly verify a knob. Ask one of the mods to ask you to wave on cam, so they can prove you're not a video (yes that has been done in the past)

OP this advice is gold many forget this and get into a further silly problem which is complaining why they don't get meets... can never understand why guys need to do a wank cam!!!

A veri doesn't change anything.....it still takes the same level of effort once you've got one.......

Imagine someone fancied you, but you weren't interested, would you change your mind if they produced a letter from someone else saying how great they were? I'd think not....

Yeah there are one or two folk who won't meet if you don't have them but they're a minority....

Everyone else with a veri had to get that initial one.....so I suggest, as has been mentioned above, improve your profile, have a look at your approach and see if you can improve your chances that way...

I just checked....that's wrong....I followed the steps to verify you and it gave the option to verify by cam...

That's a good point. I guess so that any pictures on my profile are really me. Only a meet veri shows I turn up Which I assume was your point. That goes for all of course.

The rules are out of date - admin have said this before.

Anyone can be verified by cam - but it won't change anything. A cam veri to most means little, just that someone can sit in front of a webcam.

As others have said OP - maybe making your profile a lite more user friendly (visible pics, a few more words in the text) and interesting will improve your chances of a face to face meet, either social or play.

And as a result get that veri you seek!

No clubs or interest in my area, only 5 or 6 regular onliners and no interest in single guys there, m&g comming up next month so thats a plus but first one in a long time so i guess ill have to give up or move lol

I saw the verification system as a massive plus. So many other sites are full of timewasters and wannabees. Actually having the members verify other members is a stroke of genius and such a simple solution.

So, no brainer and I'm in.

And at this point I hit the same wall as the OP. I was actually told by a couple of people that they wouldn't dream of "chatting" to someone with no verifications.

I looked in the forums, lots of people offering great advice.

I changed my profile, tuned and tweaked it, I'm still tweaking it now, I'm not sure it will ever be "right" but I hope it's improving and being more representative of me and what I have to offer.

I now have a couple of verifications, but I really have no idea if they are helping or make a difference.

Next step, try out a few clubs and make some new friends.

I hope the feedback you've had helps.

Off to read my profile again......
