tying my partner up

Try it first alone together it could be too much for her with a stranger and she might feel uncomfortable/free out.

Let her get used to trusting you when she's that vulnerable.

And are you using ropes or say an under bed bondage kit from the likes of Ann summers?

If your using rope be sure to use knots that don't self tighten or else as she struggles/wiggles they will get dangerously and uncomfortably tight and potentially cut off blood flow.

Doesn't have to be rope. Can use belts to tie to the bed. Do what you feel comfortable with.
