Profile/message opinions welcome

Hey

So i thought id ask for opinions on what makes a good introduction message. I try to read a profile before contacting and refer to it (where possible) however the majority of the messages i send don't even get read.

I always include face pics and state in title that face pics are attached just wondering if missing something which needs to be included...?

I can't see anything that would put me off with your profile. Depends what you put in your message but..

Just remember women get LOADS of messages. If I received one (if it was decent) off you I would look and think hmm he's nice I'll reply later. But then I don't get that many any more! Some bulk delete as it's impossible for them to read hundreds of messages and respond to them! It's not a personal thing.

Yeah i have no intention of sending cock pics around... Why someone would confuses me! They aren't exactly attractive

As a follow up for the women/couples when you recieve a cold call message what entices you to open it? The profile pic, the title?!

Also if you open but dont delete is that equivalent of "save for later"?

I always open all messages. It's more a case of novelty and mild surprise, followed by innate nosiness and a tadge of desperation that makes me open them.

I don't often reply due to badly spelled messages, boring and unimaginative content, rudeness and general ennui.

Unless they are friends and then they get the full works!

1) Have they read my profile? If the subject does not contain a phrase from my profile then I know they haven't in which case it is useless for me to read it and so their message is deleted without opening it

2) Do they meet my requirements? For this, I read their profile

3) Do I find them attractive?

If I read and do not delete it or reply immediately then it is mostly because I will reply later

An imaginative subject title helps

- I'd say 90% of messages we've received have the subject 'hi' or 'hey there'...the few that have stood out as either completely random or outside the box have immediately intrigued us.

Messages that dont just repeat whats in a profile are better - they'll read it in your profile anyway, it baffles me why people waste a first message stating things that I can read on the profile!

Keep it reasonably short, couple paragraphs, and keep it fun friendly and witty.

State an opinion, ask a question - make the conversation completely un-date/sex related, relaxed.

Imagine looking through lots of messages that are all along the lines of 'hey you're amazing, I'm amazing, we'd be amazing together, lets meet', then you get one just chit chatting and non pressured...something that intrigues you...more likely to respond? Then once the conversation flows...work up to talking about a meet.

Kinda imagine how you'd approach a woman in a bar, and apply the same conversational skills online.

Thats my thoughts anyway!

That's right as women get loads of msgs, so its not all about matching her profile and send a thoughtful msg and complementing her as in most cases they wont be read and they prob will just mass delete their inbox every 2 hours lol

Updates stating how many sent messages remain unread makes it sound like

a) you're unpopular - if other people arent replying to you either then there cant be much I'd be missing out on

b) that you're going with the volume approach and sending out tonnes of copy and paste style messages. hedging your bets instead of being genuinely interested in an individual.

I tend to follow the following route regarding messages:

-title states that face pics included

- introduction of myself and where i from and what caught my eye

- sign off with a polite goodbye

Short and sweet not mentioning "fucking" etc at all
