is there such a thing as too many meets...

i am a popular guy at the minute for some reason.and getting lots of attention..but a few people seem to get put off by the same fact..is it better to hide verifications and bend the truth to meet people or just be honest and pass the ones by who dont like sharing..it is a swinging site after all ..so i thought.whats peoples thoughts??

If you hide your veris, then some people won't meet you, if you show your veris, then some people won't meet you. Personally, I show mine, but you could probably best "play the system" by hiding your summary and showing 2 or 3 good veris spanning as long a period of time as possible. However, hiding your summary will, in itself, put some people off!

I think if you have a lot of meets then there are people who expect you to be able to turn up any time they want you who will be put off yeah. They'll think you're too busy to meet them at their convenience and might even try to control how you conduct yourself. Also, some people think you're diseased if you have sex with a lot of people as well. I'm lucky that most of my meets are with people who are turned on by the fact that i fuck a lot of guys, they even wish for me a good time when i have to stop talking to them on here to go fuck somebody.

Wouldn't worry about it, you should be able to meet who you want and when you want. And if people are turned on by how you run your life and enjoy being a part of that then is a bonus and makes everything that much more fun and enhances the bond you've made with people. I personally wouldn't hide my lifestyle from anyone i'm gonna meet, i love them to enhance my life in some way and am happy to enhance theirs too.

If your getting plenty of meets why worry about the ones who have doubts about meeting you, just ignor them and focus on the ones who are meeting or wanting to meet you

Veris mean nothing to me other than the person is who they claim to be. My last 2 meets have been with unverified guys, no fuss, no bs, texted, arranged a time and place and met. A verified guy who wanted to meet recently has mucked me around and cancelled twice.

I have never over looked a guy because he has no verifications, I've met a few unverified guy and never had any of them let me down, we were all none verified at some point we just needed someone to I've us that first chance, it as a nightmear getting my first meet, trying to convince people I was female etc luckily someone took a chance on me and I'm happy to take it on others

I think regardless of them having no veris or 100 its best to talk to someone and make a decision about them based on them

I don't care what my potential meet was doing last week, yesterday or this morning for that matter. As long as his recent veris don't refute things he's told me about himself or things he's put in his profile I couldn't care less when he last met someone or how many meets he's had. It's a swingers site!

We don't show all ours , or our summary .

We do like getting and giving veris , they are a reminder of the fun we had , so no problem there .

However , there are many people on fab who look down on too many meets .

Perhaps those people are not the type the op or ourselves would want to meet ?

Who knows , but the best way is to do what is makes you happy , and not worry about the haters

I have fallen foul of this a few times and it does make you question yourself as to what you have done wrong as a single guy with no ties. Yes, I've once had a great week and had more than one meet but what about all those times when I went months in between plays because I actually have a very busy life too. I would be lying if I said it didn't knock me a little being judged by people I have talked too and met over a long period of time but you soon learn who your true friends are and the ones that make the world of FAB a brilliant place to be

we have had a couple that were put off by us having had a recent meet - we were glad we found out before we had met them as they made themselves out to be so much above everybody else they really werent our type at all - and we always say their loss and enjoy the friends we have

For once this is an interesting thread One of the reasons we refreshed our profile was the sheer number of verifications our previous one had. It had been running for 6 years and most of our meets are at clubs or parties, where getting multiples was a regular thing. It looked like we were real tarts!! But when broken down and understood we only used to go out twice a month!

We therefore just kept removing and replacing to keep it fresh....

As a couple that will meet sgl m though, we would certainly advise keeping several decent ones (and OP you have some) visible. For us, no veris is a one way ticket to deletesville! Socials and clubs are so easy to access that without them to us you look like a dreamer, especially if a profile is more than 2 months old.

I think it can put people off, more so if it's a woman with many, be selective with your posts or ask some of your meets not too post you a verification. I'd be more dubious of the ones I know you have and haven't listed. But that earlier female quote is true "if it's not broke don't fix it"

The number of verifications someone has is not part of my selection criteria. After all, someone might only have 1 veri but have sex with lots of people not on Fab, or have repeat meets where it's not worth leaving loads of similar veris.

Really interesting discussion... I've debated this question with myself too. I would say given the great veri's you've got, display them proudly! To me, they say you're a genuine, decent guy who is fun to be with and treats the people he meets with respect - if anyone takes offence to that then they are on the wrong site, in my humble opinion.

I'll echo the thoughts of my previous fellow fabsters in that 'why give a toss (pardon the pun) of what others think?'

Surely we are all grown-ups here and therefore understand that this is a swingers site not a dating site

I get the same issue having so many veri's in a short time but if you actually drill down (oooh excuse me for a moment .... mmm) you would find that I have only actually had full on penetrative fun with 3.

Lots of veri's doesn't mean I'm an easy slut... it says I am fun, sociable, real and memorable!

Well if you're at the stage of meeting a bloke and a date is set for a few days away and you're sending each other sexy messages etc, it would get on my wick if he slipped in another meet. I'd feel like I'd been a fluffer for someone other lucky lady!

Plus of course if a guy has had a really prolonged meet on a Monday, he's going to be some sort of a sex god to be on full power on the Tuesday let alone the Wednesday if he's also got lucky on the Tuesday.

We don't have much spare time so if you replied to one of our "adverts" we would probably pick you over another who wasn't verified as long as its safe sex it wouldn't bother me.

We only have 11 verifications on our profile but that's unrealistic, we haven't received verifications from everyone we have met, this is because:

a) we are a shit shag?? ??

B) we didn't even get to know their names and just went for it (in a club)

I'm hoping its (B) as i only breathed on one guy once and he was shooting his load

Yes that's true so they have to verify first as then you would be sure to get one back and yes your right there as well as their partners wouldn't know.
