So the other half and I attended a beginners masterclass on BDSM tonight and although we only attended as a bit of a laugh and a night out, it's begun a wonderful conversation about our desires to dominate and be dominated respectively as well as an interest in bondage and sensory depravation. We are an open minded couple and have tried a lot together but our sexual dynamic is one based mainly on give and take, both on an equal footing.

We're loving the idea of trying out some gentle BDSM but feel we would benefit from some form of demonstration and/or more information. We're currently looking into visiting a fetish club or BDSM night where we can watch how others do it.

If anyone knows of any helpful and instructional articles/blogs/books/videos, we would greatly appreciate anyone pointing us in the right direction. Equally anecdotal experience and personal advice is very welcome.

Mastering the beginning? IDK they advertised it as a masterclass but it was really the basics.

At Townhouse, we have been running 50 shades of Grey nights for over 2 years, where swinging meets BDSM.

At these events, we welcome members from the BDSM community to demo and be available to ask questions from people who are new and interested. It is a VERY popular event, hence running for so long and is great for those who are still on their road to discovery and want to mingle with experienced players.

Our next 50 shades event is on 27th March from 8.30pm - 3am and I think I will be doing a demo myself this time along with my peers on the scene.
