I posted this in the general forum but thought it might be better suited to this one!!??!!?? I have used this fantastic site for afew years now but i just wanted to re-iterate something

on the subject of STIs/HIV - I had a nasty scare recently so i am certainly not one to judge and i have made my fair share of mistakes but can i just say please be careful and use protection!!!! We always think it isn't going to happen to us, then we have a scare which makes us re-assess things....

I agree. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes. We can catch all manner of bacterial/viral infections and remain asymptomatic for a long time, so please all use condoms and have regular STI/HIV tests if necessary!!!!

Test regularly. Couldn't agree more.

Be aware that no sex is safe sex unless it really is none!

There is plenty you can catch from just recieving or giving a BJ.

had a full sexual health test yesterday myself. only routine. no reason to suspect I have anything. I agree we should all get checked regulary. all good n well using condoms but does everyone use a condom giving oral.. no we don't

Yes, not only that the the common male practice of using spit to lubricate before penertrating a woman could pass an STI to her, whilst he is wearing a condom.

Condoms only provide safer sex not safe sex.

It must have been bareback sex so on the 6th time he suffered the inevitable horrible death.
