What is your opinion on showing faces?

We are professional couple so we want to be discreet. Several couples have refused to speak with us unless we show face pics straight away, which we don't feel comfortable doing.

More than happy to show on cam when we know them more!

Cam is less safe (in my head) if someone is recording it?

I don't see the point in chatting to anyone if I'm not attracted to them.

Maybe just speak to people not in your local area, and travel?

Or go to a club and don't meet from Fab?

For some, there has to be instant attraction, others prefer to build rapport and hope the pics match expectations.

The same thing has happened to us. We both run our own businesses so have to protect our anonymity...some people respect that and those that don't end up blocking us...hey ho...f**k 'em...or not as the case may be

Yeah there does seem to be a lot of pressure to show faces instantly from some people. Guess it's just a case of doing what you're comfortable with.

A lot of people show their faces so everyone can see them, that is something we would never do!

Do what feels right for you.

Be aware though, cam is no safer than photos if someone wants to capture your image for whatever reason, and you object to that...in fact arguably it's worse, as they can record your conversation.

I like the new thing on here once message has been read the pic deletes if you choose that option.

If people demand then move on, i tend to show pics after a few odd messages.

If people have the face pics on show i think only fair they get them sooner.

Speaking as a guy, I do find it more comforting when an exchange of faces is made earlier.

I don't mind waiting to cam for a simple face-to-face verification (actually, I prefer that) - but if you're unable to do that early-ish on, I reckon a face picture may be warranted.

I do totally understand the need to be discrete, but I'm more less likely to be able to form a solid opinion or connection with you, if I haven't a clue what you look like.

Having said that, asking immediately is somewhat pushy. After a couple of initial messages to gage interest, I think it's a good idea.

I ask for face pics straight away seeing as people can see ours, i assume they message us because they like the look of us.i think its a common courtesy to show yourself,especially if the intention is to bang the pair of us

As others have said, do whatever you are comfortable with.

We do not enter into protracted conversations without seeing face pictures. Too many times, there appeared to be a connection, only for us to be disappointed when pictures were finally exchanged.

I think camming is better, probably the validity AND safety sides. Via cam, you can physically see if the person is real or not (all off here I've spoken to have been genuine, fortunately) AND it's probably harder for somebody else to search for you.

With photos, anybody can Google Reverse Image Search now-a-days (and that's a good thing), so if you (being the person wanting to stay discreet) share a picture, another person may be able to 'find' you, so to speak. Not all photos will be returned in a search, of course - but you catch my drift. Screen-capturing a cam shot isn't going to bring up any results; your identity is fine providing you haven't said or done anything too raunchy in that session.

My advice, in any case, is to have your own, private set of face pictures that have not been uploaded on any public/professional profiles... and use that to send to people. Harder to reverse-search and a face picture without context doesn't exactly give much away

Agree with this... I also run my own business which is very community focused. But We like meeting people and we go to clubs... I could bump into clients, potential clients etc, and that is a risk I am willing to take. We have had a few people go very quiet on us after being asked for face pics, and I don't understand why. Makes us suspicious, if anything.

If people aren't happy with how you communicate with them, you won't meet them. The choice in how you manage this is entirely yours.

Speaking for ourselves, the only private face pic of us we ever show is a completely innocent one that is on the internet anyway, so it would be easily explained away as being stolen if we needed too.

But really, what is the likelihood that we would ever have to? The key is to exchange your pics only with people you feel that you trust. But that doesn't guarantee anything, it only lessens the risk. People are also pleased that images sent privately on here can now be deleted, but that doesn't stop anyone saving the pic the second they receive it.

As is pointed out above, the whole practice of swinging is inherently risky, and if you feel that you have too much to lose in the unlikely event that someone 'outs' you then you perhaps shouldn't play...but then the rewards tend to be worth it!

@SvelteSuitor - we never go on cam, that's a personal preference. We will speak on the phone and happy to send face pics. Also, we are hardly ever online at the same time.. I am usually online during the day, while J is busy at work, and J tends to be online more in the evening while I am at my evening classes, so we probably would only cam one at a time, even if we did! So it still wouldn't neccesarily prove that we are a genuine couple, unless we wanted to make a huge effort to make sure we were both online at the same time, if that makes sense?!

Its already happened!lol,my old boss is on here,and we are now friends so not really....some people know anyway..work doesn't matter,people knowing would not affect my position,and certain members of staff are aware.obviously I don't intend making an announcement of facebook anytime soon to my family.although if they found out I don't really see what issues would arise for me personally.my mother and brothers are the only opinions I care for anyway,and seeing as I'm almost forty I cant see them saying too much.

At least if we do happen to bump in to a client there is an opportunity to talk things through and clear the air...my being cautious is more to protect my clients than saving any embarrassment on my part...especially with the work that I do. We do explain this to those that want to know why we don't publish face pics. It's not been a problem for most people.

There are a few things that the lightbulb comes on to with this one.

how do you ever expect to get a meet arranged if no face photos are shown, couldn't look out for the boobs.

Rejection on here is easier then to your face.

I'd personally rather be on here then Facebook professionally wise. Opinions via sharing links can give out the wrong impression of who you are via a Facebook profile least on here your showing you have a sex life that is all.

I wouldn't meet anyone who wouldn't at least show me one facephoto.

Do whatever you feel comfortable with, we believe ot or not have to be discreet, so we only have face pictures in private to send when we are comfortable with the other people, we will send them if a friend request is made and they have face pics in the friends only pictures as we think that's fair

We are happy to send face pics to verified people as we are all on here for similar things, I doubt anyone would be so silly as to start blabbing about seeing someone they knew on here, after all we are all on here!

Absolutely, you've hit the nail on the head. Personally, I would request for a couple to have both people on cam for validation - both that's just me. I mean, a lot of times it's down to the scenario playing out - but for example, I'd be a bugger for you, asking for both on cam

Just do what's right for you. Webcam as others have mentioned is probably worse than photos. Anyone could nick a photo off of one of your social media profiles anyway.

We agree no point in messages flowing back and forth building up to a meet only to find once faces are seen there's no attraction and you wasted all that time and effort

And to be honest this excuss of 'were professional' really bugs us, at the end of the day if your that professional why would expect to have sex with some one who your not attracted to, although there are I'm sure many who would, just so long as there's a pulse.

Exactly. In a club you are meeting other people who also want to be discrete - you are seeing them as much as they see you. How can you similarly trust someone at the other end of a webcam - recording and distributing a video is trivially simple.

Also everyone has something to hide from someone - perhaps your parents, children, or boss. Until swinging us as socially acceptable as going to the pub it is better for some people to show discretion and hide their faces. Be cautious.

We like to see faces if we plan to meet, it's often best to see them sooner rather than later because it's much easier to curtail a conversation early on.

Going on cam has its advantages but if discretion is a concern you have to realise that cams can be recorded so aren't any safer.

There is a new option whereby you cab tick a box that says, once the person has opened the message and looked at the pics, the pics are removed! I use that option - andfor extra insurance I only send face pics of me with clothes on, for damage limitation, as it were! Xx

We do not give face pics to people we do not know. Too many idiots on here. We only meet at clubs and on couples nights so that helps people know we are a couple and not a single male posing as one. Also if you meet at a club and there is no click then you part company and it is not a wasted night. If you do not want to give photos then you do not have to. If someone does not like that then that is their loss. Just have a mutual understanding that if you meet at a club and there is no click then go your separate ways. We have a few club owners on here that would verify us as being a couple. So giving a face photo out is no big deal. You are more likely to get a meet if you have a face pic so the people who choose not to may miss out but still their choice.

I prefer seeing someone's face sooner rather than later but that is just my preference. Each to their own though.

If someone can't respect your wish on something so simple as sending face pictures then they may not respect other more important wishes of yours. Best to them out first I say!

We are happy to share face pics...and have even dipped in to a bit of face pic friday fun!

But we have also been chatting to a couple who wanted to wait before sending us their face pics, which we were happy to do and continued chatting...and we werent disappointed when they did eventually send them!

But if we had been....whats the worst thats happened, a bit of time spent engaging in witty banter/sexy talk/interesting conversation? ...I 'waste' that much time watching crap on the tv some days...and interesting conversation, regardless of whether it leads to a meet is a pretty nice way to waste my time!

We are professional couple so we want to be discreet. Several couples have refused to speak with us unless we show face pics straight away, which we don't feel comfortable doing.

More than happy to show on cam when we know them more!"

People will have different approaches and its a case of finding those that match yours. No one is right and no one is wrong.

If that's what your comfortable with, stick to it.

Personally we prefer to exchange face pics very early on.

We don't show face due to our job

And to be honest if people don't want to meet us it's their choice

As they say you don't need to look at the fire when your poking it lol

Where not ugly but we just got be careful who know what we do in our private life

With the ever growing number of fakes time wasters and pic collectors on here I think it's reasonable to be careful. I particularly don't like people with no pics at all who ask for a face pic imediatly and get arsey if you say no.

If they're going to get upset do you want to meet them anyway??

Most of us have jobs, family and friends we don't paticularly want to know about our private life x

I respect the no pic thing when meeting at partys or clubs and make a laugh about it, had some very successful meets like this, they see what I look like so find me

I have got a local that wont show face so told him a social be fine in public place, no promises as like to know if attraction there when meet, I will only travel up to ten miles for a blind meet

meeting blind I like to make it known that I will have to be honest that if I'm not attracted to them, it wont go further

When meeting all my pics are public including my face so if people dont send face pics within the first message im not interested. Do I worry about being recognised? No, Im an adult and am entitled to explore sexuality how i see fit if people dont like it thats their issue not mine. I have been recognised in the past and no doubt will in the future but the people that did recognised messaged me on here and had the good taste me never approach me publically.

We are in the same situation....sort of. I work in a shop so that's no problem, but N works with kids so as you can understand is crb and dbs etc. We like to get a feel for people over a few messages before we send face pics. Not just people who say "got any pics" first message ha.

Exactly.

What's the use of you sending your pic seeing a one of them (if they even bother sending one) you like the look of them and then.... They turn out to be arse holes!!!

I think your missing the point a bit. There are many profiles on here with either no pics or just body pics, but they insist on a face pic before they will chat.

In my opinion if your going to ask for a face pic show your first simples
