Can someone advise me. Over the last three days my profile has been viewed by someone. When I send an acknowledgment thanking them and asking if they want to chat, the message is deleted. Is this usual? I know I'm not exactly an oil painting but does she need three views to confirm this?

I think if she was interested she would of messaged you. There's so many profiles on here it's hard to remember who you have viewed. I often click on a profile and think oh I've seen that one already.

Thanking someone for looking at your profile is a bit pointless tbh. And one of the reasons I don't even bother looking at the who's looked at me bit. If they haven't messaged/winked then there's likely no interest

Just because someone has viewed you several times, it doesn't mean they are interested. And if its a couple, both may have viewed individually then they as a couple themselves. If its a single, perhaps they were doing a search and you come up each time and they have forgotten they looked at you. They may also prefer to choose someone and send messages themselves rather than receive them. Most people don't send messages to those who have viewed them so don't worry about it, move onto the next one

I liken the viewing of my profile to passers-by in a street looking into my shop window. If they're interested they'll come into the shop and ask questions. If not they'll pass on by, and most do, which is fine.

It's not dignified for me to go bounding out of the shop after them asking them if they like what they saw.

It would reek of desperation.

Its a glitch in the system, if you reply to someone just even a polite no thanks Fabswingers takes a reply as interest so they can continue to email even if blocked.

Hence people look and decide if of interest and only reply if they are.

Do you buy every item of clothing in a shop you look at??! This is the main reason I look in stealth mode or you get the "I see you looked at my profile......." message which can be a tad annoying. As others have said, if interested, they'll make contact.

We get this a lot, we always look at people's profile that have looked at ours.

We sometimes both look on our mobiles, then out of the blue we get the "seen you looked at my profile , why didn't you message me".

That's a bit pushy for us.

No it isn't usual to thank someone for viewing your profile but it is quite usual for people to delete messages when they have no interest in taking things further.

"We get this a lot, we always look at people's profile that have looked at ours.

We sometimes both look on our mobiles, then out of the blue we get the "seen you looked at my profile , why didn't you message me".

That's a bit pushy for us.

We get messages from people who say they've seen we looked would we like to chat but we're in stealth mode

That's because it is pushy! Not everyone on Fab is as relaxed as they could be, unfortunately.

You may not realise that you can change your settings so that you don't appear on people's viewing lists if you have looked at their profile. That will eliminate this issue for you.
