Just looking for honest feedback. I'm always getting stuck at the opening message. Don't want to come across as sleazy so don't do the fancy a fuck message, but getting no where with a hI, read your profile you seem like fun, fancy a chat. What to do?

Not much wrong with it at all (better than a hell of a lot on here).

Personally, I'd change the 2nd paragraph slightly.

From:

I 36, 6ft tall and mixed race (half black and half white) and well built ex rugby player. I am in to most things and like trying new experiences when i can. Dont have a particular type but a personality is a must.

Firstly you need to put something about your interests. Obviously you like rugby but what else, most people want yo know more than that about you. Now in terms of writing messages you really need to look at their profile, and reference what they're into. So let's say they like rugby. Ask them about it the message. E.g. I see you like rugby. If they haven't mention which code, then say something like.... Is that union or league? Oh I play__myself. Do you play? Etc. now if it's a profile that doesn't mention their interests, it falls into 2 categories. 1. A profile with little detail that just have a generic few sentences like "Horney girl lucking for fun times" 2. Someone who goes into great detail that they're looking for some who goes into great detail about what kind of guy they want, and what they want from them. Now if the person you're messaging falls into the latter. What you need to do is subtlety remind them they've haven't listed any interests for you to "stimulate" their mind with ( I think it's actually a challenge). Say something on the lines of e.g " I know a few people might have already said this, but it's true. I feel we're after the same things. There's more to it than just the sex, the social side, being able to converse is just as important. I myself enjoy.... List a few of the things you enjoy ( but not all, remember you have a profile)then say.... Do you enjoy them aswell. If not what kind of things are you interested in? I'm sure we have some common interests.

Now with the former type. It really doesn't matter what you write, unfortunately it purely on how they think you look. That profile is written that way, because they know they'll get a shit load of messages regardless. And if they want a meet on Wednesday , they can flick through, pick what they think is the fittest person, meet them, and don't care about the social side.
