Dressing Down/Amour

My husband and I are new to the scene and have only been to one club (Xtasia). I have to say we liked the "have a drink at the bar" aspect. We are going to Amour for the first time tonight and are a bit nervous at the "dress down" description. How does that work? Do we walk in and immediately de-cloth? Lol I have a black lingerie dress but more concerned about my husband. So he just gets down to his boxer briefs? Should I be taking a trip out to get some silky boxers and a cigar robe like Hugh Heffner? ????

Hi guys.

Firstly it's a very friendly club with great bar staff and it's completely non-cliquey! You should have a great time.

You go to the bar when you go in to pay and they'll give you a locker key.

The changing rooms are next to the bar and you go to dress down straight away. The usual lingerie/sexy attire for ladies and boxers or a towel for the gents.

Everyone else is in the same boat so it shouldn't feel wierd for long. Obviously there are people of all shapes and sizes there - so you should never feel embarassed or out of place!

Women tend to wear heels. Men flip-flop type shoes, pumps, socks or bare feet!

I've never felt cold there tbh hun! Xx

no it's not cold there I just ware boxers as a single chap . Some ware towels it's fine .

Women can dress sexy, but men are reduced to a towel?

As a man who goes to fetish clubs, I love dressing up.

Amour is a lovely friendly club as Paula has already said and you will be made comfortable from the moment you walk up the stairs. I've been that many times I think I should have a loyalty card and have never been cold in the club, you'll have a great night

Why feel sad about something you don't feel comfortable doing? You like fetish wear. Go to fetish clubs. The thing about clubs is they are all different. I wouldn't feel comfortable around some fetish wear so I'd avoid it. I wouldn't moan on here that all clubs should conform to my ideal. Vote with your feet.

The club sells soft drinks at a very good price but if you want alcohol you take you're own and they will label it with your locker number and top you up when you're ready

We first started visiting sex clubs at Cupids which is perhaps why we much prefer dress down clubs including Amour. We find it strange to be in a club (no names) where this doesn't happen although we did like NYE at Amour which was suited and booted until 11 pm and then dress down (actually at the request of my OH I kept my kilt on!)

My size 13 feet do get a bit cold earlier in the evening until things warm up. Might get myself some of those flip flops (no socks though).
