There seem to be very few women on here who are actually prepared to meet! I'll exchange messages, photos, etc, then they just disappear. When I check who is online it's virtually all men and couples... Are there actually any women on here (in the North West) who are prepared to actually meet?

This is true for me.

I've had a whole bunch of conversations with people where it led to nothing - mainly due to differing tastes and instinct. A message/response shouldn't be regarded as a guaranteed meet.

I have to agree with the OP, I've not met 1 woman from the North West since being on Fab.

The fact I've met well over 50 women from the North West at various clubs, socials, one on one social meets and play meet might make the first sentence a bit of a fib!

I'm in the Midlands and I meet but I've actually found a lot of men who are time wasters or liars who stand me up at the last minute. Afraid you get them where ever you live and whatever sex you are. Verifications don't seem to always mean a lot either. Good luck!

Thanks. Good luck. Bear in mind that many of the people you want to meet will be mums - who are unlikely to be meeting now until early jan as the kids are off school. Try clubs and socials and get to know people by using the forums regularly. I and many other female forumites prefer to meet guys from the forums as they become friends over the months and are far less likely to be time wasters! xx

On the flip side of the veri question, someone with a few verifications 'may' be more likely to meet. It's ONE of the tools I use and whilst I've met unverified people (almost everyone's gonna want that first green tick) I'm a bit more leary about whether they're going to turn up (so far, it's been no problem)

I've met both women and couples (mostly verified and one unverified couple at the time).

In my case I don't think there is a rhyme or reason as to why I've had meets when others taller, fitter, more muscular, etc have not.

The one thing I never do is assume it's going to fall out of the Sky for me. I guess I'm just lucky.

There will be people in your locality who want to meet, but (without reading the OP's profile) how much effort have you out in and are you prepared for a bit of a wait?

As an addition, a good place to start are clubs and parties.

Trust me effort means a lot, I will not respond to any messages when the sender could not be arsed to even have a half way decent profile, then add in the fact they don't have any pics or sometimes just a few cock pics, unless that is what defines them.....

It just proves to me they are not worth my time or effort.

I totally agree. I search and message men myself as I've set my filters so no one can message me (other than people who I've spoken to before) Since doing this I've seen so many boring, non existent faceless profiles where clearly no effort has been made. I see it like advertising your car, would you have one slightly out of focus pic of the gear stick and a text saying its a car, message me if you want to know more? Probably not as no one would be the slightest bit interested!

You can waste a lifetime on here, just go to a club, talk face to face,see what you're getting (and viceversa),

get some names,

verifications.

You don't have to jump through hoops whilst reciting the Bible backwards missing out every third word in ancient Greek.
