Just had a quick look at the 'who's viewed my profile page' and clicked onto a guy who's looked at me and he simply copied and pasted my profile and used it as his own.....it's not even that good lol. does this happen often....thief!!!

He only has text similar to yours?

Take it as a compliment that he thinks it is worth taking BITS of your text, because I doubt he would have used the bit about "technical issues" either!

I have had a gent copying my profile word for word, except making slight changes so that it appears as a gentleman's profile.

He even left the bit about having a partner that died at a certain time in there!

I flipped, confronted him about it, and he took that bit off.

I then refused to meet him. He came across as a creep on the paid site where I first came across him, and introduced him to FAB.

He replied in the line that perhaps the reason I refused to meet him had something to do with his profile.

CREEP!

We looked at a cpl once and the profile was word for word. They had copied and pasted the whole profile. Weird.

The OP made me curious as I have a lot of single fellas looking at my profile, so I figured I'd have a quick peek at some of them and see if any had tried similar shady "knock-off Nigel" type shenanigans...

I gave up after the 7th profile.. every one of them was a single line, apart from one that was nearly two lines long. Nearly all of them said broadly the same thing ("horny single guy, looking for some fun..." or words to that effect).

Now I'm worried that I've got it wrong having such a long one (oo-er missus, 'Nurse, the screens', etc..)

I have parts of my profile pinched... which is quite an acheiving since mine is very dry and self deprecating....
