Erection Dysfunction

Jump to newest

I suffer from Social Anxiety disorder and depression, I also get very nervous when meeting and talking with people and when meeting a woman today I had an erection dysfunction and although I went hard I didn't stay hard and basically I'm here to ask if anyone can offer me advice of any products I can buy that will help next time I find it hard to get hard.

Many thanks in advanced, please take this seriously and judge me upon this as many men around the world suffer from this.

Brighton - even Hove!

Could you get to the Sussex Social? It's totally non pressurised and just drinks with other swingers in a pub.

speak to your doctor and they will prescribe Cialis; this will het you erect when you are sexual and intimate with a person, unlike Viagra which will just have you hard at the most embarrassing times

you can also go to a pharmacist where they have private consultations and they may prescribe, will cost you, as they are nor on NHS (we aint paying for you to get it up hehe)

Join a group where you can talk to people about your fears there's loads of forums and groups online....talking helps

Ask your doctor to be refered for group therapy and coinciding or find out from them what there is in your local area.

For help with sexual dysfunction getting help mentally will help you physically ....but if your wanting drugs I can't express enough don't self medicate.....do it through a doctor safety.

An adjustable cock ring will help with staying erect. Something to experiment with to get comfortable with before meetings.

Depression medication can help a lot but keep a diary about how you feel when you take a drug. This can help your doctor decide if your mediation needs changing.

Avoid social anxiety by meeting new people with a good friend at your side. Remember many of us, myself included, battle with the same feelings every day.

No offence o p but as you are clearly diagnosed asuming by doctors not sure why this was not covered by them unless you did not mention the issue.

Forums are good but go see your gp he or she are best placed to offer advice whilst viagra is popular there are others available and the doc will know your medical history and will advise what best one will suit you.

Do not go buy viagra based on unqualified peoples opinions.

syndromes etc de-blah de-blah de-blah - would be helpful to forget all that.

"stage-fright" is common, very much so initially. Performing in public takes some adjusting to for many. Are you looking for explanations where none is necessary? Did you look after the lady anyway and give her a good time with tongue, fingers, being attentive, etc, etc?

We performed in front of an appreciative audience yesterday aft. and were happy with their company - the occasional request to hold a leg, etc. willingly obliged. Typical event, etc, etc. We didn't arrive at this happy place in one go. Took us some months, in the beginning, to become confident performers in an interactive public environment... Be realistic???

Then there's that nice suggestion previous in thread about coming for a "soft" meetup at a group - meet swingers and kinksters and be sociable. Ease in and take away the pressure.

Well done on having the guts to post this on a forum. Bet it took some bravery.

Regular exercise can help with, depression, self confidence, anxiety.

A healthy lifestyle will do this.

Buy some new clothes, hair cut, new aftershave.

Do something to make you feel good about yourself.

A little bit of confidence can go a long way.

Also get checked your not diabetic, this can effect your circulation.

Good luck.

Try more sensual foreplay and intimacy also.

Someone who loves you is going to be more understanding than a complete stranger.

Some good posts here.....first of all.... go to the doctor for help with ED. He/she will probably prescribe the apropiate medication on what you tell them. Unless you have diabetes or another condition on the list your going to have to pay private prescription this will range from 50p to £8 per tablet. Dont buy off mates and the net. And then theres no guarantee it will work. Dont jump straight onto the big orgy bed and expect the hardest cock in the club will be attached to you, it won't be so dont set yourself for failure, It takes time and a certain mind set to perform with this condition, but you can over come it......been there and got though it and been performing ever since.

good luck....

it took a lot of guts but I will say that I have had the odd person sending me a message saying that I shouldn't be on here because people don't want to deal with a shy guy but I just blocked that person because as with most of the replies it shows that there are understanding people out there that do care and they can't speak for the rest of you, thanks again for the feedback and advice

Hi Zander, fair play to you for sticking your head out of the trenches, our first time at a club i suffered horrendous stage fright - my wife was more shocked than I as it had never occurred to her that it could be an issue. I then had a performance anxiety hangover for about a week after. I spoke to my gp, leaving out the environment this initially occurred in, and she suggested exercise, watching my cholesterol etc. I went on the lloyds pharmacy website and obtained tablets the same day. First time using them i was so anxious nothing happened.. At all! Over the following week I tried and succeeded and another week or so got back to my "normal" self. Point I'm trying to make is there are solutions out there, and our heads are funny things that like to spite us at the most inconvenient of times lol. Just don't give up bud

I think you deserve a round of applause for being so open about it on here. Its the first big step forward

Lots of good advice about social or soft swing meets, but definitely get to the docs and have a chat with them
