Ask them to go on cam and do the following.

1/look at the background.

2/Fingernails and ingrained dirt check them on cam.

3/Ask how often they change their pants.

4/Be blunt ask if they are a grubby bastard!

OP you just have to do what the rest of us do.....use your judgement in who you choose to meet, decide in the level of risk you want to take, and visit the GUM clinic every 3 months regardless of how safe you think you have been......or invest in a sheep dip. good luck.

You need to try a little harder as that's a poor attempt I guess you must be one of those TV program watchers you are so fond of. Full marks though for picking on a new poster I hope you are proud of your self for goading him its so so so clever of you.

OP, in general, you will find that those adopting a swinging lifestyle are as keen as mustard when it comes to taking precautions against contracting STI's and are also more likely to have regular check ups than joe public.

Meeting a swinger does not equate to immediate itchy pants or pissing acid.

You are just as, if not more, likely to contract an STI by meeting someone on a night out who is just up for a d*unken shag.

That said, sexual health is YOUR concern and no one elses.

Therefore, if you are uncomfortable with any situation, don't do it.

YOU take the precautions though and YOU draw the line as to what you regard as safe and unsafe.

If those you seek to meet see it differently, don't meet them.

Oh FFS! I was just going to bloody ask that!!!

OP - people on here aren't any different from those you meet in the street/pub/tesco (other supermarkets are available).

Use whatever methods to stay safe and assess others as you have so far in your life. There's no other way!

With regards to swingers possibly being more susceptible to picking up a dose of clap, one of my workmates needed a visit to the GUM clinic yesterday after a pick up on a vanilla night...I have mentioned to him on more than one occasion that he should be a bit more careful when dipping his wick - a week on precautionary penicillin whilst waiting for his results may make him a bit more cautious...

OP, just apply the same standards as you would if you picked someone up down the boozer - and welcome to the forums

Brighton - even Hove!

OP: welcome to the forums

As swinging is a past-time that can take up a lot of time and effort, you can bet your boots that most people will have their own sexual health and levels of hygiene high up on their agenda of important things. Make sure you a careful as you'd expect other people to be.

Just having a wank on cam is pretty safe - at least I always thought so until my lubed up right hand slipped right off and bopped myself on the chin.

Have you heard of the band "rock bitch"? Every gig they have sex with an audience member. Risky eh? Well yes but they treat him as if he is hiv +, and minimise skin to skin anything. OP I'm not going to say that last night I wasn't d*unk and low on patience because I was exactly that, but I've seen posts like this before and they always tick me off, even when I'm sober. seriously though if you're that worried and naive this game is not for you.

Asking for advice on a Swinging site doesn't mean you are not suited to swinging....in fact I would say it is the opposite.

Welcome to the forum OP...hopefully some of the answers will help.

Steve, a big kiss for your sore chin (and don't try the ouch my cock really hurts line coz I'm not falling for it!)

OP, like all of us you are responsible for your sexual health. Set your own "standards" as to who you will play with and make sure you protect yourself.

Bear in mind that however often someone visits the GUM clinic to be tested, the test results are only good for the day the tests are taken - you have no guarantees as to how those people play between tests so don't be misled into thinking those who test regularly are safe!!

Sex is supposed to be fun, if concern for your wellbeing overrides that then maybe this site is not for you - there is no such thing as 100% safe sex but we all take calculated risks in life, this is just one of them x

Even outside of the swinging worldviews is always a risk of catching something . You just have to follow your own judgement of the people you choose to meet .

Only you can judge who the right people are for you and only you can be responsible for your sexual health.

Treat the site as you would if you were trying to hook up with people in the real world. Be safe, polite, respectful - everyone on here (in the main) in a living, breathing, functioning human being. Just because this is a swingers site doesn't mean you have entered some dark, underground place where rules don't apply. Use your common sense - I'm assuming you've not been locked up in a cellar until you logged onto here.

So act sensibly and don't treat this as a knocking shop and you hopefully will be fine.

Are there people who DO want STIs?"

Maybe if they're addicted to antibiotics

To the OP, there are many people on here who are paranoid about catching STIs. The only thing you can do is use condoms and get tested regularly. Take responsibility for your own sexual health. If you were talking about general hygiene, just hose them down before sex.

"I just don't want any STI's fuck that "

see... someone hit on the point in the thread flippantly by said something...

the only way to 100% avoid sti's is to never have sex.......

everything else is about risk management....

even condoms if you have ever read the side of a packet are 98% safe... they have been known the split

I think the inferance that "swingers aren't clean" is the one that ticked off a lot of people.....

but lets go back to "risk management".... for example crossing a road...

now, it is never going to be 100% safe crossing a road... but there are places where it is probably safer (lets say a zebra crossing) than others (a 6 lane motorway)

it is about judging those risks and acting accordingly...

You may well find that swingers are just like Vanilla folks.

I am on here but have had way less sexual partners than my vanilla friend has.

Look at the individual, read their verifications, and go with your gut instinct...

And take the precautions you can to make sure you stay safe - regular health checks, condoms, and using your common sense.

Good luck!
