There is no hard and fast rule. Part of the problem is what people perceive to be timewasting, when sometimes reality is the other people involved do have an emergency.

another example, I recently got very close too meeting a couple but declined when they told my very late on their teenage son would be turning up at some point. They might have perceived me to be a timewaster where as I just feel I should have been told all the facts.

If you really are concerned about timewasters, don't bother with those unverified.

Having said that, as a single guy on this site, you have to take your opportunities. One of the best meets I had was with an unverified couple who cancelled first time around. I gave them another chance after speaking on the phone and it turned out amazing

I have had 3 Confirmed meets but and 2 no shows and 1 Turn down. ( on Various sites not just fab swing/flirt)

Some one did plan to Skype me I skyped the Male partner but the female partner ask me to Skype her day after. After wasting an entire day on the laptop and doing a couple of messages (trying to be persistent but not pushy. In order to keep the convo going) they did not bloody pickup.

Yep they were the couple had pictures on their profile and I spoke to the man via Skype video cam.

Pretty much this........

I've had dozens of time wasters but you can generally get a feel if somethings not quite right when messaging anyway and in the years I've been on here I have only had one person who bottled it and didn't answer the door.

We used to only attend clubs or parties as the time waster issue consistently reared it's ugly head . So it's not just single guys who suffer !

Over the last few months we have gone back to meeting by arranging here on fab , and still the time wasters are prevalent .

To answer previous questions as to what is a time waster , this is our opinion .

A person who says they wish to meet at a certain time and place , and fails to turn up .

A person who replies to a meet request , but fills your mail box with alternatives to the requested meet .

Other than this it's often the selection process which is at fault , such as expecting the too good to be true profile to be true . And turning up without a phone number .

We now go dogging if a meet doesn't materialise as a back up .

There's something far more up front and honest about doggers , and they never let you down !

Yep it said they were MF in their joint profile and their was a picture of them (faces)in their profile. To which the man matched via Video cam.

Just look for profiles that have NO TIMEWASTERS on them (preferably in capitals as this give the words extra magic powers!)

This is the sign if a true, genuine (in capitals or not!) swinger profile.

No I meant just because their pics from Fab show up elsewhere it doesnt mean to say that they are fake because a lot of people use the same pics on Fab that they use on other sites.

But if the person you see on cam is the same person that it is in the pics on here why would you say that they are fake?

Not necessarily a good chance, but a chance.

Once saw a couples profile which had web verifications, saw the cam and it turned out to be a cam off a porn site of sorts, admittedly no face was shown but people had still verified on such a basis

No I meant just because their pics from Fab show up elsewhere it doesnt mean to say that they are fake because a lot of people use the same pics on Fab that they use on other sites.

But if the person you see on cam is the same person that it is in the pics on here why would you say that they are fake?

But wouldnt the fact that their lips weren't moving as you were talking to them on cam be a bit of a clue that it was just a picture???

Read the profiles.. If they say they dont meet dont contact them.

I would be classed as a timewaster by the people I do not reply too..

If they had read my profile they would not bother to waste their own time. Basically if you do not fill the criteria set on profiles you shouldnt message. Quite easy really.

Sorry I didn't explain that very well. what I meant was if for arguments sake, it was a couple who cam for a living, the photos could be lifted and then when in the chat room the video feed of them could be put on in the cam room. I only know this as it happened to me
