hi everyone,

i recently opened an account, and im having a few dramas with my photos.

I uploaded a few and thought everything was fine but ive been told people cant see them.

i went into the chat room and put one as my avatar and its really blurry.

i am absaloutely shocking with computers and was wondering if anybody could help me with my problem.

hope to hear from all you computer guru's soon

Just out of interest - what is your avatar meant to be ?

All we can see are 3 white blocks of various sizes ...

haha, its supposed to be me at a beach bar but i had to block my friends out. im in the middle of the white blocks, but like i say you cant make it out.

Not a great deal you're gonna be able to do with that given that 75% of the content is a white block.

A new photo is needed, there's nothing wrong with your PC or the site, its simply down to the content of the photo, maybe it's low res too ? Taken with a mobile phone ?

no, it was taken with a camera, but thanks, i think i'll just change the picture. i wouldnt know how to change the res anyway, i thought that was something that couldnt be changed.

Maybe instead of blocking people out of the photo you could crop them out? That would leave you and no white blocks.

No, but it's better....

Cropped means dragging the edges in towards the middle. Think of it like "reframing" the pic so that the focus is all on you.

Now can I joke that with no many little white blocks, it looks as though you're in a pool with a bunch of meerkats or something.. ?

Clicking on the avatar never works on here, but the version in your profile can be seen large enough to see what the hell's going on!!

i guarantee you, this is no wind up, i really am poor with computers, and lose my patience with them, i normally get my mates to do it for me, but as you can imagine, probably not the best idea as im a big fan of discretion
