Or, if you have a PA piercing and she has a length of chain and a couple of padlocks, remember the old phrase "never go to sleep on an argument"

Especially if you wake up and find the chain is slightly too short for you to reach either the keys or any tools you have!

Surely you could just take the piercing out, no problem then.

If it's one with a clip or screw in ball, yes. If it's one that needs ball closure ring pliers...not so much.
