Lost interest

I seem to have completely lost all interest in meeting people via FAB. I still really enjoy going to Chameleons & I'm also looking forward to trying Xstasia soon, but the thought of meeting someone for 1-2-1 fun from the site is leaving me cold.

I pretty much only use the site for the Forum, to see what club or social events are coming up & to say no to people messaging me

Has anyone else been through this?

What did you do to reignite your interest in 1-2-1 meets?

I tried taking a break, it it didn't reignite my 1-2-1 interest.

Any ideas received gratefully oh how I can rediscover my passion for this.

Take a longer break. It happened to me in 2007 and I didn't start meeting one on one again til 2010

I love this site, I really do. But trying to get a meet can be infuriating and depressing. There's no reason for us to get jaded about sex so its best to relax and just enjoy the bits that don't piss us off. I will be hiding my profile tomorrow morning and not logging on while I am abroad, just because I need a break. But I have a club visit planned and they are always fun. If club visits and forums are fun for you just stick with them.

I'm the same. 1 to 1 meets just aren't doing it for me at the moment. No messages are sparking my interest enough to answer them, and no profiles are catching my eye enough to want to message people.

I'm going to parties and clubs when I can, and at the moment I'm content with that. If the spark comes back cool, if not I'm not really going to worry.

Because I feel like a bit of a fraud using this site if I'm not particularly interested in meeting anyone. I used to love it, the nervous excitement of a meet.....now the idea just leaves me cold.

I love going to clubs & socials, but the whole meeting strangers on a 1-2-1 basis just doesn't appeal any longer.

Just word your profile to reflect your current position. Many use the site just for the forums. You could even hide your profile for a while.

Hey I am also not meeting . A lot has happened and now I am ill so can't be intimate any more . I still love the clubs so I was going to cancel my account after my birthday party this weekend . But I do enjoy the forums on the evenings when I am bored etc .

fab isnt all about meeting up - its about connecting - can be here in the forum, in the chatrooms, just through messaging - so many dont meet - its fine xx

I think it's a site for swingers to connect and chat and support and meet.

Not everyone needs to do all of those things... Some never use the forums, some only cam, it's here for you (and others) to use as and when and how you choose.

The frauds are the fake profiles not the real people who input and support others on here.

I mostly meet in clubs, rarely do I meet out of them or 1 to 1's, I'm happy that I can use this site to see events I wish to attend, use the forums and be part of the community.

I feel there's nothing fraudulent at all about you staying here and being part of your community.

If you take everything off the 'looking for' section you won't show up on searches. It cuts down the mail.

it happens to me too, but I just take a break and start with a new profile and to some extent, a new range of friends and contacts. I would just say be yourself and do or work out what is perfect for you. Good luck.

p.s-I agree with much of what has been said before about the forums: the best part of the site.
