If I may take a little of your time, let me see if I can shed a little light on the problem for you.
1. You've been here for just four weeks. Given that single guys outnumber the ladies by around 100 to 1, I'm afraid they really can afford to be fussy. They also receive in the region of 100 messages A DAY! I would suspect that doesn't leave them a great deal of time to go on the lookout. Have you been pro-actively messaging or are you expecting them to come to you?
Just for the record, it takes most guys months to get their first meet. That's just the way it is.
2. Let's take a look at your profile and see if there's any room for improvement.
OK. Let's start with the title. Not entirely eye catching really, to be fair. Bordering on stating the bleedin' obvious.
Think of this as your introduction. Think of it, if you will (to use a fishing example) as the bait on your hook.
Next. Drop that status. Seriously. Clear it right now.
It's whiney and makes you sound desperate and women do NOT find this attractive. Yes, it's frustrating, but you need to try and be positive. Show everyone that you're upbeat and enthusiastic.
Now to the meat of your profile. Your description.
Nothing majorly wrong about it, but I would drop the comments about being genuine and about turning up etc.
I understand totally where you're coming from, but some women might see this almost like a double negative. They will be asking themselves, why does this guy feel the need to go on about being genuine. I'd also lose the bit about time wasters. It's just more negativity in your profile that you don't need.
While it's good that you set out that you can't accommodate, it would be wise to state why. Women want to know that you don't have a wife at home that your cheating on and stuff like that.
One last thing I would say is try to think about what you can offer them.
Why should they meet you. What's in it for them.
Basically, think of this as your advert to the women of fab and sell yourself.
Pictures.
Upload some.
One picture of your chest is not going to be drawing the masses i'm afraid.
If you can, get a face pic on there, but if you'd rather not, for reasons of work etc, explain why on your profile but say that you're happy to provide one - and ALWAYS send one when you're messaging.
Hope this helps. Sometimes it takes another pair of eyes to see the wood for the trees.
Above all, you just need to be patient, but pro-active.
Try out the chat rooms. They can be fun.
It takes a while to get yourself recognised around the site, but you'll be fine.
Have a good day young man. |
