I blocked someone but his profile still says he has been verified ?! And I was the first to verify him - nobody else! I am confused! Why is his summary still showing that he has been verified????

why do you want to block some one you have verified ?"

I've done it before. Hassled me and mucked me around after the first meet and generally turned out to be totally different and a bit stalkerish. I didn't want my name associated with their profile anymore.
