What do people expect when they send you a wink. Am I supposed to do something just because they wink? Surely a message with more than one line is better than a wink or a friends request as a first move?

We wink to give people the no obligation to message option of peeking at our profile to see if we might interest them, rather than stacking inboxes with less than inspiring one line hello messages

Maybe it's the quality of winks we get. A 65 year old 300 miles away who winks and nothing else. Not sure what they expect. Then we get abused for not Messaging or returning the wink.

We find it's better to block the winkers we've no interest in. Saves getting the abuse.

Oh and by the way........

That is exactly how I use them!

It also avoids the emotional scars of seeing your unreplied to message being deleted

I'm still in hiding after the last one boo hoo
