Have started to experiment with close up clit and nipple pics, not sure if they are the thing, should we be more subtle?

Try the same sort of pics but experiment with low lighting or soft focusing. Colour edits or black n white effects. You can take pics of bits and not make them look so in your face with clever angles and effects.
