I talk about meets but then they get demanding or just plain creepy going on and on its off putting making them look desperate so I cancel

There are those that do give the run around but there are others who do meet and read profiles. Having a more informative profile could attract other people and also cuts out the ping pong messages in regards to what each party wants.

I think the summer holiday period has put a bit of a slowdown on things, as alot of people are away, have kids around tooo much etc.

Could be any number of things. Poor profile to start with.

Could well just be the male half chancing his arm. The veri is historical from when the couple met when you were last on the site as I read it, so no guarantee there's a couple at the end of the profile at all. Plus this forum post is suspiciously similar to many such threads from single men.

What sort of messages do you send? To verified well written profiles? With pics?

Do you go to clubs, as you can't accom?

So many reasons, not all everyone else's fault.

we can only say we truly are real and genuine and a couple..not implying its anyone elses fault...just thought there would be more couples like us who are keen to get into the act of doing rather than talking about it...

Why not go to a couple of social meets that are regularly organised ! There are people out there who are happy to meet but some just take longer than others to arrange!

its easy to say they will meet you when they live so far away, fact is if they were close they wouldnt meet anyway or be so keen i get a lot of interest from scotland as well its all just words be nice to see some action

The reason you are having problems is simple , you are relying on fab to get a meet and your profile and pics aren't great .

Even if they were , it woukd still be hard , because there are so many dreamers , fakes and wanabees on here .

Most of the ones who are meeting are tend to meet up with old friends or socialising .

Our advice is to get out there , to a club or something and organise your own destiny

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this but the last line of your profile?? The we're not interested in being friends bit?? That's gonna put loads of people off, it's like your saying 'we're only after what you can give us' rather than let's have a laugh and see what happens, I was going to suggest going to a club but with that kind of mindset I'm not sure you'll get too far.

Why don't you want to make friends ifbyou don't mind me asking?

The reason you are having problems is simple , you are relying on fab to get a meet and your profile and pics aren't great .
