Safe Sex

Hi everyone. Just a bit of a rant here I suppose. Eventhough I've not been a single swinger for long I always chat to my prospective meets and advise them that safe sex is of paramount importance. This is discussed well before that actual meet and they have agreed this is definitely the best / safest option only to find when we meet they try it on without using a condom?! Anyone else had this happen ?

It's not just the men, when I had a couples profile on here my husband was often offered unprotected sex which he refused.

I am sure it applies to all sexes as I have declined meets with couples who couldn't decide whether they practised safe sex or not. But so far only had issues with single males during the actual meet itself.

I've never experienced this, thankfully, as I'd be pretty pissed off! Every guy I've met from here has used condoms without me even having to ask.

Not totally unusual. Excuses range from being allergic to rubber to simply preferring the feel. I prefer to keep my equipment fully protected .

Had one or two 'forget' until they were reminded. I've not yet felt the need to end a meet but I rarely meet them again as I've had it play on my mind a few times that they'd have been willing to go without if I wasn't on alert. I probably should have left the meets really but at the time I've let it go so long as they've covered up

It's possible some of my meets might have tried it on if I'd let it get to that point, but generally when things are heading in that direction I'll either get a condom out and offer to put it on the cock in question, or get one and put it to the side of the pillow and say it's there for when we need it. Unless they've mentioned beforehand that they need latex free or something in which case I'd ask them to get one out for when we need it before it would form a major interruption.

I think some men (not all!), if they could, would try it on. During one meet, the guy turned up without condoms with the excuse that he wanted to buy a packet of 3's and he could find was a packet of 15's. Only found out when it came to the time to put one on. Needless to say, we didn't finish the act.

If you agree to sex on the basis that he wears a condom, only for him to remove it and continues to have sex, then that is sexual assault or rape.

If he tries to force himself on you without a condom that is also sexual assault or rape. In either event report it to the police. Do not put up with these disrespectful men.

Happened to me too, a real corker, he'd had a vasectomy so couldn't make babies! Was quite insistent,, fortunately i'm a strong minded capable woman but it was a bit scary, I was on my own & in a vulnerable position, could've gone bad if he'd persisted. Obviously didn't get invited back &I now insist on taking my husband to all 1st meetings.

What people get up to on their in the own time with others is of no importance - But I 100% feel what the OP is saying is true - People say one thing about safe sex, then can do the opposite.

There's no excuse for people not playing by other peoples rules though.

I'm pretty sensible when it comes to sex so yes I do wear protection with girls in real life unless iv took the time to get to know them and had relationships. I'm just saying it says a lot about someone if they are willing to have unsafe sex with someone off a swinging site.

It's not just men, as has already been mentioned. I have been asked at a meet by a couple and a woman to go without, but wouldn't risk it. I also wouldnt enjoy it as would have had that playing on my mind!

not just males definitely. Was meeting a couple and night before the meet they messaged me to say preferred unprotected sex. We had been discussing our likes and dislikes for a while and safe sex was I thought what they were after, it was definitely what I was after so the meet was cancelled. I was probably then labelled a timewasting male!!

Always carry condoms, when on a meet. However in some early discussions with females and couples, bareback was mentioned. So definitely not just a male thing!

Prior to a meet I make sure they know sex is with a condom only and no exceptions. I have not had any problems on the day ever and prefer to meet the same person again if it's a mutually great meet x

Safe sex is always discussed prior to and play with meets, we must be lucky as we have never come across anyone refusing safe sex or trying to play with a condom
