Bit of advice, can anyone advise on best way to remove pubic hair with a soft smooth skin after. Franchine wants to get the smooth look we see on here but finding it difficult. have tried shaving and waxing, but has anyone had laser yet?

Never had a laser treatment but have heard they are very good all though not quite as good as advertised.

Me personally I wax such a smooth finish lasts for weeks and less grows back every time xxxxxx

i shave i use the venus razors with aloe vera and use shaving gel not foam and i get the small bikini razors for the tricky bits lol then use mosturiser straight after and im alwsys smooth how ever my friend invested in one of thoses NoNo,s i think its called 100 pound but swears by it xx

just looked into the laser, seems alot of money and it takes up to 3 treatments/weeks before you see any results. Think we going to go and have a wax at a local beautician xxx

tried Paul's phillips shave but no where near as smooth as i would have thought and was thinking of the no no x

We love to be smooth all the time and was recommended a cleancut shaver by a friend of ours. Its different as its cylinder shaped for easier use.

Its fantastic! Leaves you so smooth and gets in all the awkward places that I used to struggle with when I wet shaved. Mr uses it as well.

Google it and read the reviews.

I shelled out for the laser treatment, what a complete waste of time and money, has barely worked at all other than maybe being a bit patchier now

have gone back to my faithful razor but am considering wax instead.

Being dark haired laser removal worked amazing for me, has given me such confidence to be silky smooth all the time. Yes it was expensive and yes it was timely but def worth it. I kept a landing strip and they can't laser inside so I have to shave there but to have no more stubble or rash on my bikini line or groin is just lush

Those No No,s are 210.00 if bought online, but are now available in argos I think for about 190.00

Definatly wax but make sure they use hot wax they peel off rather than strip wax. Better results and less painful

Laser works well with dark hair, especially on pale skin but won't touch blonde or red hair or work on dark skin. It's not too painful and will give a permenant reduction, but unlikely permenant clearance but what comes back should be weaker.

Electro is quite painful and very slow as each hair follicle has to be treated individually several times.

Both have their uses, but they only work after multiple, regular treatments, if you don't keep them up and only go now and then you're wasting your time and money.

I had laser done on several areas on my body including the bikini line and has worked reasonably well. It works well on dark hair on pale skin and does take several treatment at regular intervals. I haven't had to shave my bikini line for a swimsuit ever since.

I swear by waxing as nothing beats that totally smooth finish! I am getting less and less hair regrowth and needs redoing about every 4 weeks.

I have found shaving causes too much itching and stubble for me. Would love laser!

Smaller bikini razors? Be interested in those. Can you let me know brand?

It does hurt. And it depends on the good technique of the beautician and what bit is being waxed. The results are the best though x

I always wonder how guys get that totally smooth look as well, I'm always trimmed extremely short but it's not quite the same. Razors seem to just leave it itchy and with stubble, as mentioned above. Might see if any of the above work great for men!

Trimmed short looks good on a guy, shaved can be a bit odd especially if the guy has a hairy chest

Smooth balls though mmm but I think veet is best for those as no pain !! xx

I was recently told about a product called magic powder. Developed essentially for black guys to use as a depilatory cream to stop razor bumps on the face. Is available on amazon and ebay. Having read a lot of reviews on it, it seems a lot of people, ladies included, are able to use it on their sensitive little areas too with no ill effects and apparently the smell is a lot nicer than products such as veet. I shall be trying it myself soon.

I read many mixed reviews about magic powder. I bought some but when I mixed it prior to using it,some leaked out of the pot. My hands swelled and were red and very itchy so be careful and always do a test strip .
