I've had my pic stolen

One of my pictures is on another profile. I have reported the profile. Can anybody tell me how long before it will get sorted. I'm absolutly fumming!!! The freak also has private pics, can admin check that they are not also mine??

It will depend on how many other reports they have to go through and seeing as it was Saturday night last night, am sure there will be quite a few!

What's gone? the profile or the pic?

The profile should be removed and barred from joining again with another profile/name.

I'm afraid that's almost impossible to do now that there is very little static IP addresses. Most IP addresses now change every so often so trying to ban via that method is worthless.

The trouble is, you can't stop people joining on a new account after being barred.

It's easy to screen capture anyones pic here and reinvent it as your own.

Perhaps it is best to put all your pics in your private gallery and then if they still get stolen you will at least have some idea who it is

Or to use a graphics programme to put a watermark over the entire image with you Fabs username on.

like "Fabswingers.com SteveandJ"

Then it cant be used on other sites too as most will not allow watermarks from competing sites.

Its ok saying put all your pictures private but what is to say it wasn't somebody from my friends list? They had 2 private pics in there gallery... was they mine too?

This pic here ^ is the same as on my profile. Its the only one anybody can see if your not my friend and is the one that got stolen.

Saying they should be barred from rejoining with another profile is just my ignorance when it comes to computers/internet i had it in my mind that that it was a simple fix.

Possibly. Therefore its down to admin to remove my picture if that is the case. Im sure admin can trace the date when i uploaded my picture and see that the profile who has used it is only 2 weeks old.

Someone stole the wife's photo from a site many years ago.

Now it appears on money and postage stamps and I'm damned if I can get them to stop using it
