Single Men and Parties.

I've had the opportunity to go to 3 parties since being on Fab.

I knew the first one would cost £35 so I went because I wanted to experience one. Second party at a different house again had an entry fee which I wasn't expecting but paid because I had travelled a long way. Third party I didn't attend because there was a charge.

Do free parties exist for single men. Like any party I would come with drink and nibbles; or are single men always expected to pay?

I know that no 2 parties are the same but those ones felt like scaled down clubs. Or do all adult parties feel that way?

Any advice to find (or better still get an invite to) a 'real' adult party much appreciated. Thanks.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Unless the charge is to cover the provision of a room, food, or drinks, I don't think you should feel you have to pay for a party. Its almost certain women and couples weren't charged. It is up to you though.

I would also question a charge that wasn't communicated to you in advance. I suspect they did that on purpose as, in your words, you'd travelled a long way. Might be worth asking in advance if there is a charge so you're not surprised again.

There are parties where men aren't charged. When I used to arrange my mini-GBs I never charged others. But some might feel that its the only way to get committed men to attend, or to cover an expensive hotel room.

We've never paid to attend a party we've seen them advertised but wouldn't go, if we are going to pay we would attend a club

in all my years of swinging I have never been to a house party that has charged....

I think a lot of the invites to parties I get are thru all the other networking oppotunites I have had... and that is something that comes down to you...

take advantage of some of them, all of them or none of them, that at the end of the day is down to you.....

but effort in networking has certainly lead to more rewards at the other end...

Not sure how many parties we have been to, but at a guess its well over 25, and none of them have ever asked for any sort of payment from anyone attending, we sometimes take along something to help out with the buffet, but that's about it.

The sort of money you are talking about sounds more like someone out to make a profit to me!

I've never asked anyone to pay to come to a party... I normally have them at home so just ask everyone to bring whatever booze they want to drink...

I guess if I was booking an apartment or something I would tell everyone this upfront and ask for the cost to be split (equally per person)

The parties that I've seen that expect a payment from men seem to have paid 'entertainers' for the evening.

we have been to quite a few parties and do not mind £10 as a couple to cover soft drinks etc. The thing that does bug us about some parties is we take our own drinks and someone else ends up drinking it! The partys that are charging as much as if not more than a club are not ones we would go to. we do prefer mixed parties rather than couples but if a single is paying £30 plus surely he is expecting more than a few nibbles and soft drinks for his money!

What tends to happen is some house party organisers setup a saved search for new profiles, prederably the unverified ones, then invite them to a swing party. While some of these mention a charge they rarely admit that house parties really should not be chargeable. They also use the "getting verified" clause as the clincher to get the guys therem. So rhe naive newbie goes thinking he's been done a favour.

Thanks for the input. It's good to know free parties exist for single men. Guess I'll have to improve my networking skills. If I do pay for entry again, it will only be to a club. Cheers again!

No there are no clubs that let men in for free as the ratio is more men in clubs than women, imagine if no men went all clubs would shut down looooooool .

We hold the odd party well not odd actualy very good parties lol. We always put on a very nice spread and named soft drinks or tea coffee.Music, porn, and a great group of people each time. Nice clean bedding fresh towels and a great atmosphere not to mention all the cleaning up afterwards so dont think its to much to ask for a small contribution.

We are a couple and have been to a few parties and have had to pay to cover the cost of hiring the venue. Single girls have to pay too. We have taken our own drinks.

Why would people pay to get in a club but get annoyed about paying for a party?

The venue still has to be paid for... bedding cleaned... full bar supplied... and often a LOT more people at a party than in a big empty club.

What's the issue?

We have been speaking to some friends on here about throwing a party where it we plan on three or four couples with some select single guys coming along for some debauchery over a Saturday night.

Venue wise it will be an apartment or cottage and costs shared for the accommodation. Would not dream on trying to make a profit or charge an entry fee would ruin the whole principle of the weekend.

We have paid 10 pound to attend a party, but they laid on a buffet, soft drinks, tea and coffee ect.

We looked at that not too bad, clean towels, condoms were supplied if needed and play rooms.

We went there a good few times, had a good time.

I think that costs that need covering including post party costs are fair. But purely charging someone to go just because they are single guy is out of order.

Free house parties do exist, you take your own drink of choice, condoms, and maybe a plate for the buffet, and away you go lol!

I can appreciate if someone hires avenue (hotel room, apartment or cottage) then costs need to be covered, but some prices quoted clearly would lead to a profit being made.

I have only been to one adult party on a couple of occasions with a swinging partner. Its held in an apartment, with free booze, soft drinks etc and a small buffet. Was charged £30 a couple, but not sure of the costs of a single guy
