No. People should have the choice, like everything else.

Someone I met last year rejoined and left me a veri mentioning my name. I choose not to display it due to that sole reason.

I don't state my/any name on my profile when I joined, so feel it stands to reason for veris not to state one either.

We all know some people act strangely at times. Imagine logging in one day to see a veri showing your name and address or something nasty/mean/vindictive/untrue

No thank you very much to veris being automatically displayed.

Also, I imagine it would be a nightmare for Admin and moderators to investigate all the potential reports. If people stayed that is.

Sorry if my name offends you but i was taught to always sign a letter/Email, That aside we have found that veri's only prove that people have met us and we have no wish to have our personal stuff spouted out by others for the world to wank over, Also what about the bad ones, If it was compulsory i can just imagine the crap that would be appearing..

having spoke to yourself Op over the years..I wouldnt try butting into your profile about any reservation I may have had/have regarding how your profile is conducted.

if its an issue regarding the verification of another you have met and they havent been what u thought, perhaps you havent checked them out well enough before arranging a meet.

The bit I detest is treat with respect wtf graphic detail is great because I definitely would not meet someone who wrote that.

Absolutely no way should verifications show automatically. I don't show mine and don't expect to see others. Graphic detail, names and stuff I wouldn't want in public on site are my reasons for hiding them though I may occasionally show a summary if questioned as to whether I actually meet!

We feel the content of our veri's is our business some folk go into way too much detail at times, the main thing for us is that prospective meets can see from the veri symbol that we have met/interacted with others and are not fake or timewasters

A lot of my meets are from str8 guys who perhaps are not 100% comfortable with being outed.

I respect peoples privacy to only reveal whatever they decide, after all its a private matter..

Another no here. I never ask for veris from play meets but have a few. I see it as private and no one else business. I only show a few social ones to try and show I'll turn up when arranged etc.

After that, they don't serve a purpose for me.

as others have said, some people treat verifications as some sort of graphic john motson commentary....

all a verification has to do for me is tell me they are who they say they are.. and they are real.... nothing more....
