Don't suppose there is anything you can do about it unless they are actively pretending to be you, with photos and details of you on their profile.

If it was us i would email them just so they knew we knew they had copied our profile.

We had a single bloke from Ireland pinch a picture and had it as his profile pic!

We sent him a message and he said some crap about it just appeared when he uploaded some pics.

Reported him and profile has disappeared.

dont think there's much you can do, it's just words after all, if it was you're pictures or something you owned then thats a whole different story.

Some has used a part of my profile...I found it quite amusing really....and to some extent flattering that a thirty-something needs to use the words of a fifty year old to attract would be meets

I would hope though that they have noticed that a person can only be made up of 100% of different things and not 105% and amended the copied profile heading accordingly

It happened to me when I first joined, and the other person joined the site on my recommendation.

I flipped when I found out, and confronted him about it, and declined to meet or further communicate with him afterwards.

He had the blooming cheek to reply in the line of, "It must be something to do with my profile."

Git!!!

With hindsight, I should have reported him.

If someone tries to pass herself off as me, I shall report her for certain!

well spotted!! - so few people spot the deliberate maths error - in fact I even had someone message me to ask why it only added up to 95% once lol!

You are spookily accurate tho - it was that bit he nicked - and he didnt spot the error initially - altho after I messaged him to let him know he'd been busted he changed it to add up to 100% so I'm still at least 5% better then him even with the plagiarism

Had the same issue myself before, was told I couldn't do anything about it. So I just changed my profile...

It must be a good profile; you should be flattered.

We had something similar at another site, a guy we got chatting to and were keen to meet, so asked if we could chat on msn and maybe webcam to illustrate we were all genuine. He said he didn't have a cam, but was happy to show display pics on there, imagine my surprise when the face pic he put up was of my delightful husband! Oops!
