I am struggling to find the right opening messages inorder to get positive responses.

i was wondering if there was any good advice as what to put.

Any help would be greatly recived

Say hello, just thought I'd drop you a message... then describe yourself, say why you fit what they ask for on the profile (actually referencing certain points on the profile is helpful and shows you read it), state when you are available, acknowledge that you understand if you don't fit their requirements after all and thank them for their time.

That's about it I think.

I have tried that with limited succsess. i see yoir from liverpool too, does it seem to you that being from liverpool you get overlooked

You may get overlooked by people from Skegvegas for instance, but that is surely due to distance. Why would people from Liverpool overlook people from Liverpool. Maybe you are casting your net too far?

Am up an down to torquay 4/5 times a year so would you say yovil was to far

For some couples, and I include ourselves in this, the whole 'I'm in your area this week' thing doesn't do it for us. We much prefer to get to know people first. Also, we rarely meet single males. Rarely, but not never.

I think that sums up what I'm trying to say.... Be selective in who you message, read the profile. Then read it again. Look for those in your area, and spend time trying to get to know them.

There is no magic forumla to messaging people.

I've sent very similar messages to different people and had one couple reply very positively, and another reply in EXTREMELY negative terms.

So one persons shit is another persons shineola.

Think of the messages you send on here in exactly the same terms as you would for the first few sentences you'd say to a girl you fancy in a bar or club.

Short, funny, confident, and personal to her.

Of course if you havent got a clue what to do in situations like that then you are probably on the wrong site

For me it isn't just the message that I get that dictates if I'm interested or not - but it does help obviously. If I was looking for a single guy, I'd probably not go for you - cannot accomodate, will meet anyone from 18 - 99 and seems to have ticked every box in the 'interests' category - couple of other things too that would prevent me from feeling positive towards your profile - that's obviously just my perception and view! Z

The problem is crystal clear! You think that women are not people. You think that they are 'things' all the same. Think the same , want the same , give the same. THAT's why you think there is a special string of letters that they all fall under the spell of.

Be you. Say what you say. If someone is interested they will respond.

Nope no male bashing - you're just being told that every woman/couple is different and your mail should address what they are looking for.

I sort of agree with GrannyCrumpet - if you're looking for a "mail template" then you're not understanding that women/couples have variable needs.

The only real answer to your problem is to read the profile and reply if you feel you fit the criteria, and not to "expect" a reply.

You have to sell yourself to the people you hope will be interested in you.

You have 2 chances....your first message and your profile.

Both have to stand out from the rest.

Your profile doesn't do you any favours, it doesn't say enough about you, and you ask, "if you like what you see...." well, have a look yourself and ask yourself the same question.

It's a tough old world out here in Swingland, so toughen up, wise up, and sort yourself out

all cpls are different and women like most hav said, and as a cpl we do look at the profile and if it doesnt say much it gives the impression uve not taken time to think about it or care so why wud it be different in a meet!!!! face pics help and not just cock pics, shorten ur likes abit makes u look desperate and ul shag anything!! not a turn on, cant accom doesnt make it easy for out of towners are u willing to pay or help towards hotels costs etc all this will help do u travel?? and tell ppl about ur self hav a laugh at urself make ppl think ur goin to be fun with etc etc hope these help

Have to agree with everyone else,read a profile before sending email,make sure they are looking for guys,you are in their age range,if they smoke if you dont want to meet smokers that kind of thing.
