Too Respectful?

Is it possible to be too respectful and nice when chatting? Sometimes I don't think I am being forward enough to get things moving, but I always like some kind of signal before things get too naughty as I would hate to offend and show any disrespect.

Just sometimes I think I can be too polite - any thoughts?

I am the same as you..... I do think I am far too nice for my own good, in the end I almost have to end up saying to myself

"whats the worst thing that can happen.... its only a no!"

Shy bairns get nowt.... great phrase and so true....

I totally know where you're coming from. You don't want to be pushy and part of the 'fancy a shag' brigade but you need to push a little bit as well. Tough one!

I notice that this seems to be a problem that only men suffer from lol.

Not true! I'm far too shy to ask someone to play, I'm also really bad at reading subtle signals lol. I much prefer a man to come and ask me directly.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Welcome to the bottom of the food chain.

It's ok once you accept it and settle in.

Try posting a thread about how you've been here x weeks, and have only had "x-1" meets so far, and how hard done by you feel.

It's a rite of passage - we've all done it. I think mine was in September 2009...

lol. I'd never moan about being turned down. People are here for their own pleasure and not to do social work for others. But yes it can be frustrating sometimes when you think everybody else is getting it

I think I am playing this weekend though so not been too bad for me and verifications hopefully to come.

Beleive me u can never be too respectful. We have only ever plyed with people that show respect and are courteous initially once you have broken the ice then you can feel your way and things will develop from there. If someone shows me or my partner disrespect the conversation is very very short and the second word is off. You sound like a nice guy keep at it things will come your way. Good luck

I always try to be polite and respectful but but with mixed results.

So by way of an experiment I once posted an extremely rude ad (on another site) littered with 4 letter words.

Whilst my knuckles were rapped by the moderator who made me moderate my ad, I got loads of positive responses from ladies and couples.

Am back to being polite, but it made me think!

I think it's only respectful and pleasant to show some degree of restraint and good manners when first getting in touch, while hinting at the dark side to your character, I find it easier and more fun to write these kind of mails anyway as I'm not coming across like a neanderthal loon, there's more of a thrill of the chase element and it's always nice getting to know someone a little. Once a rapport has been formed though I usually let more and more of my wicked beastly side out and so do most people I get to know....after sufficient build up it's always a delicious surprise!

Get real everyone.....none of us joined this site to swap knitting patterns and discuss gardening....we are (almost ) all here for the same thing so why not talk about it straight away ???

Yes we are all here for the same thing but there's a marked difference between "hey mate your wife looks hot, can I fuck her" to "hello, I came across your profile and you both seem like nice people with a common interest, would you like to chat to see if could get to know each other?"

Do you see the difference?!!

Sigh...

Yep...pleasant and respectful and funny...does work...guys be prepared to play the "long game"...thats the difference between a brief unsucessful experience in swinging...and the guys on here who are very popular with the ladies...

J13 of the M5

The parties are the best way to start.

I would seriously advise going to one as soon as possible if you are looking for your first meet and socialising when you get there.

Try to name drop your profile a few times and the others will remember you.

If you are hitting it off then ask if you can play. Although I got more no than yes at least I had some. Sadly I dont think the positive responses are on this site so I cant go back for more.

Lol

Matt
