This subject has probably been discussed a lot. I am looking for a hotel room for the day. Looking in the areas. Grantham, Sleaford or Peterborough.

Travelodges are proving difficult as no one can get there for check the evening before if we have a late check out.

Tried a website for day rooms but nothing local. Any help would be appreciated.

A lot of hotels have rooms for business meetings etc during day. Not sure how private etc. they are. Doubt there'll be a bed either lol.

Travel lodges so early check in from 12 for an extra ten pound

Book online then ring the hotel and request an early room. Pay the extra on arrival xx

Trafford Area

Whilst this topic is open I thought I'd ask, do hotel owners expect that there rooms are being used for sex or should you tell them your intentions when booking? Sounds very silly but I don't ever want to be chased out of a hotel with my pants round my ankles...anyone know the etiquette in this situation?

Haha but I've never met in a hotel for sex, is it allowable by all hotels or just some of them. Because some may not have adequate sound proof hehe

Can anyone spread some light on this as I'm genuinely clueless

Woking

Have you tried dayuse-hotels. They have one in Nottingham as well as around the country.

Try airport hotels...they usually have flexi-hour arrangements. Good luck!

You don't have to tell them anything.

Check in mid afternoon is fine, they don't care. If there's a few people invited get 2 room keys. One person goes to the room then the others come up after. Or one person comes down to let them in if it's a hotel that needs a room key for the lift. x

Don't panic as long as you pay for your room they don't give a flying goose what you get up too.. Have fun xx

I gather from other posts that the only issue you might encounter is when the number of room occupants exceed their fire regulations. Elf and safety, you know.

Say you're booking it for a band who need a shower room for them and the crew. I used to do that for work all the time no problem. Always got early check-ins. Then people can come and go and no questions asked.

Just don't hoof the TV out the window!
