reading signals wrong?

Ok so i've become good freinds with my tattoo artists over the past two and a half years who is single, attractive, intelligent etc etc etc

The problem i have is that im not sure im reading some signals from her right (if there are signals at all)?

So the signals (i think im getting) are these

She has invited me (but never my partner, which she knows about) to a few social do's that she hosts fairly regularly, saying things like 'it'd be ace if you could come etc

a couple of weeks ago while being tattood she randomly asks how me and my partner are getting on, and when i tell her thats its not so good, she goes all 'aww you're a great guy, you deserve to be happy' etc. Then a week later she private messages me on facebook asking if im going to a local food and drink festival and provides her private mobile number instead of her work one, asking me to call her if i get there

So, what do you guys think, are these clear signals or not?

Like i say, we're good freinds who are super comfortable in each others company and i wouldn't want to risk that by putting my size 10s in it.

PS forgive any spellings, my thumbs and smart phones don't mix

Apart from her hitting you over the head with a club and dragging you back to her cave I can't really see how she can make it clearer that she fancies you

Playing devil's advocate here it seems that she's interested but on the off chance that she could just be being friendly (she may even have a friend she wants to set you up with, for example) I wouldn't make a move yet, especially with your current relationship status.

I think this is my best option...unless she just comes out and says it. I dont think a move is worth losing a freindship for. Plus i text her back my number to be polite with no reply, so maybe i'm in cloud cuckoo land

bwahahaha

just my opinion - clear signals or not, don't do it to your partner. if you 2 are having problems, sort that out first. even if it means splitting up. then you can go guilt free into a new relationship and not have to worry about lying , hiding things and getting a reputation as a cunt.

okay....regardless of the signals, if you are thinking of taking in further then should you have some respect for the partner you already have???

I'm confused... does your partner know about this? Shouldn't you be more concerned with how she feels than your friend?

probelm is, if you take it as she is interested, you risk ruining it and losing a decent tattooist.

better to wait and divorce your missus, then take it from there when your single and actually able to

Am I the only one thinking that she could be looking at it as a way of business networking? ...Y'know, as you'd pretty much be a walking talking portfolio of some of her work and all...

The whole asking about your partner thing could just be polite chit-chat.

As others have said, if you respect your partner, I would suggest working on that first and if it's not going anywhere and you're not happy, end it. Regardless of whether you persue this other woman.

If you then decide to do so, I would ask outright. x
