IF you have Google toolbar installed and click "Tools" and "delete browsing history" then you would think that your history has dissappeared - HOWEVER do this close the ineternet window and open a new one , then click a new tab ( the tab just in from yellow star at the tob of this window) - THe tab shows icons of all the sites recently visited AND includes FABSWINGERS !!!! - i suggest uninstalling the Google toolbar - just in cast some teenager or other person clicks on the "New tab" when logged into your account

i use google chrome not the google tool bar, it's faster better and the tools are easier to use

HAve you got google Toolbar installed, if so click a new tag and your whole recent history in icon form is displayed, even after deleting history

You're right, it does, the best way to get around that without having to change any settings is not to put Fabswingers into the google toolbar, but to google "google" and when their page comes up, at that point type in Fabswingers, ie, on the main page not on the toolbar! There is also a way to get rid of those "thumbnails" but fooked if I can remember what it is at this time on a Sunday night! Will have a look and come back to you, meantime, google google!

Google toolbar is notorious for putting hooks into anything it can, I for one can't see any reason to install it - also, if you have a google linked email account it will keep you logged in for any search and thereby they will have a record of what you have searched for somewhere.......

As a single blerk I rarely have reason to delete my browsing history - only ever done when I fancy a "clean up"

OP - what browser are you using? I wonder if it acts differently under others?

If you use the browser cleanup does google toolbar still retain the info?

I don't think this is a feature of Google Toolbar, but rather a feature of the browser you are using. When you have a new tab which is showing a list of the most recently viewed sites have a look for an Edit option. On a Mac running the Safari browser, if I go into Edit mode I can hit a cross on the website thumbnail and it excludes that site from appearing in that recent history list. Not sure if there is a similar mode in Internet Explorer on a PC.

Go into internet options and look for the setting that says show new tabs as blank page/home page click and you are done.

Even if you delete your browser history the info is still stored in the index.dat file if you used IE. If you search google you'll find tools that can delete that as well like ccleaner.

Thats probably because its you're google browsing history your actually deleting and not you're browsers history.
