Thats doesnt really sound like dogging- more like al fresco swinging. In our "old school" minds ( we were dogging before it had a name 25yrs+ ago) Dogging is turning up at a car park and meeting strangers youve had no contact with sometimes with great results sometimes with disappointment.

No its not rude to turn up at a dogging area without an invitation but guess its very rude to turn up at an outdoor swinging event without said invitation.

Thank you turned up in new forest about 2 weeks ago got cold feet have been blocked by couple would love to try again just thinking of going alone?

Dogging was originally a voyueristic and exhibitionist pass time. As the previous poster has said, for a dogging meet, its not rude to just turn up. Maybe someone will be there, maybe not. Very hit and miss.

If however you were invited to an outdoor meet, this is something entirely different. I could understand the couple blocking you, if you failed to turn up.
