I normally send an email and inform them where the images were pinched from and that, if they don't revise their profile, I'll report them to the (presumed) Copyright owner.

Admin reporting is a given, in all cases.

I've reported loads. One recently had a pic of an American fitness instructor who posts videos on youtube! Some sad people on here.

we often see the same people leaving veries on new profiles, also similar people adding as friends straight away, just makes you wonder about how 'real' they are too.. we love google reverse image and will have a look at tineye. Deffo report

I think it is something that people can be over reliant on. Yes in some cases it is blindingly obvious but the furore about the tumblr site showed that pictures get stolen from here too.

I've not used Tineye but I have google chrome so all I need to do is right click on the image then click the option "search google for this image" I may be wrong but think with Tineye you have to save the image then upload it into it.

I've found quite a few with fake pics from the net - usually male models so they use a cropped shot with ripped abs - I always report. What gets me is that some of the offenders still insist that it's them!

I find this too. I recently saw one who when reverse image searched, found it was an American fitness instructor who posts instructional videos on youtube!! He was photo verified and by a meet and clearly wasn't the guy in his other pics. Why people do it is beyond me. I did send him a message saying what an impressive body he had then he blocked me, I wonder why lol

I just found fake pic guy .. I asked him why he'd a profile pic of someone else on his profile .. He said that it was because he didn't want to be recognized by his friends and family .. Lol .. What a load of tosh! I just reported and blocked .

To he honest its why i always ask to pop into verified users room and turn on face cam for 1min .. that way both parties can validate properly the person is correct ..

Alas some people give dumb ass excuses like , dont have a webcam (what laptop are you using a pre 90s one lol) or the other half is not around etc ..

I always like to verify myself like that .. lately with iphones its easier as you can facetime . and if you dont like the people etc just block the number/user on your phone .

Basing people from pics alone is foolish i would say ..

Equally its kind of stupid to use fake pics as your never going to get a meet anyway, as if the people weren't the people in pics you would just leave .... though as other poster said you can tell the armchair wankers generally from a message or 2
