Doh! Any way to "miss" a period?

Just looking at when we'll be at cap d'adge and oops, looks like we may be going when its not good timing.

Someone mentioned something available from the doctor?

*NOT* on pill or hormone contaceptive and too late to start now and wouldn't want to do that just for this reason.

So just wondered?

Won't be nice walking around with tampon or knickers on at Cap and it'd rule out the foam party

So just wondering, and where better to ask!

Norethisterone... in a small dose would work. It's an unlisenced contraceptive but only at a higher dose

Norethisterone, available from the doctor. Just explain you are going on holiday and don't want it spoilt. You thake them three days before you are due. then daily while away.

We timed our honeymoon horrendously wrong, we were both due the painters in for a week each while we were due to be away. Norethisterone to the rescue. Just pop to your GP a few weeks before you go and he will give it you.

Can get this on prescription from doctor, 3 pills a day,2 days before will stop period within 24-36hrs

I have taken on a few occasions when I do my periods are very heavy with cramps and bleed for 7 to 10 days. Decided not for me so invested in beppy tampons.

I think it depends on individual bodies...I often use Norethisterone and have never had any problems
