Been considering updating this and have written and then deleted a load of times as i do put effort into my profile

Question is it worth while doing this

Do people read profiles?

Men dont read them. I can tell because their messages don't relate to anything in my profile

You should do what you feel is right.. I always read Profiles as I like to discover something that would prompt me to message them

I always do as I expect people to read mine. It would be a waste of time if I were to message someone whose criteria I didn't meet, as they wouldn't want to meet me. So why do it? I'm thinking of making my profile a lot, lot shorter. More an amputation than a trim, methinx.

That's exactly right. We put loads of effort in to our profile and photography, The benefit is that it attracts the sort of people we are interested in, who tend to respond in a like manner. Any who respond with a one liner just deselect themselves effectively. So we're happy.

I experimented once and put loads of really wild "out there" kinky stuff in my profile, including corporophilia and even hinted at a bit of bestiality and maybe some DIY piercings of scrotums etc. I would say only about 2 in ten of the messages I received whilst it was up actually mentioned what was in profile. The rest were the standard five word messages and attached cock pic. So maybe not worth a lot of effort??

Yes i always read profiles i like to see a nice jolly or sarcastic (as the case may be) profile

I try and read profiles but when they run to 5 or 6 paragraphs I get bored. .....negativity is a real turn off. ...

I read everybodys profile that contacts me before reading message,then open there message to see they ask a question that's on my profile,so if they had read mine they would know my name for example

Sorts the wheat from the chaff though I guess (and that works both ways)

Personally I love reading profiles...

If they don't read my profile their message gets deleted. Its the first line of my profile. Wft would I want to meet with someone who can't be arsed reading.
