Hi, I appreciate I have only been on the site for a short while, but I need some advice guys.

I had a meet arranged last night and after waiting for over an hour, and texting and calling them, I got a message saying they had run into a bit of trouble and wouldnt be able to make it. They did say today would be ok, if it was good with me. Unfortunately I can only do daytime today, after a couple of messages nothing has happened and their status update says they are looking for another bloke to join a mmmf. Are they timewasters?

The trouble is they have 2 verifications on their profile,so I thought they would be trusting etc. If it wasnt for one lady who is chatting with me , I would be very inclined to cancel my profile, as no one seems to answer any messages and it all seems a waste of time.

Your views would be very much appreciated.

Your lucky dude... I've not had a sniff since I've been on here... Almost no replies to messages and winks etc and those few that have replied have come back with not for me or for us... It's like a secret club I can't seem to get membership to...

Perhaps they can't make a daytime meet and are too busy sorting out there meet for this evening.

There could be many factors to be honest and they are not compelled to answer your message. So you may not find out ever. Ruthless and harsh yes but no point dwelling on it.

What would deleting your profile serve though?

You have been on a week what were you expecting women flocking to you? Maybe they had another offer, it does happen. It's always more difficult for single men. There is lots of fun on the island, parties to be had. Patience is the word, a good profile, and even more patience and no moany threads and status.

You will find that in most cases if someone cancels an hour after they should have been there they had no intention if turning up and will make it difficult to arrange a meeting at a time that you're free. I have no idea why they simply can't say that they can no longer meet but they don't.

Clubs and socials are a good way to get to know people and to guarantee that you will be meeting someone, no one can guarantee that you will get sex however

a week isn't very long in terms of a single man on Fab, be patient and go to a social or a club if you can

Maybe get to some local clubs at the weekends or parties meet people . That's a good way to meet lots at once and get to know others.

People seem to not meet newbies until the reach the 3 weeks to a month stage on site. A week on site is nothing and if you feel like giving up perhaps this isn't the insta shag site you thought it would be.

Advice would be, block them, dust yourself down, get over your dented ego and shout 'next!'.

It took me weeks to even get a reply to a message when I joined fabs, and months to get my first meet.

It's not a secret society and there are no secrets to success (however you define that) but as others have said, it's not instashag and patience and a thick skin are certainly helpful.

If the couple have arranged to meet the OP then they must have been ok with him being around for only a week.

I would not call or keep texting anyone if you arrange a meet and you have not heard from them and they have not let you know they are not coming. They are not intersted.

Being a single female.......I like to see a guy has a few months under their belt. A variety of pics and something sensible/naughty to read in their profile. Personally....being a single female it does take some balls (pardon the pun) to just meet up so be patient..I also don't play until I have met the guy socially (one exception!)..
