serious dilemma ???

ok here is the script , i got an offer for work form a friend who i have known for a long time , we had a bit of fun together years ago , she deals with the mod and needs some reliable security in cyprus , my question is why me ? are they looking to to for a god time with me or is it just the work ? advice required thanks .

would not be good , dnt want the play but the work is my kind of thing , something im used to doing , i got the experience and the right stuff i know they are looking for , rich folk too much money needing to feel safe but if its through her and her contacts with the MOD i would feel obliged to play a bit which im not too keen on .

No No No you are never obliged to play and you need to make it clear if the subject comes up,keep all the contact on a strictly business level and no more I you don't want to....has she mentioned anything other than work stuff? she may just want you for your work experience and you could be worrying about nothing

I have to admit to having a similar problem with the lady from Tesco's... I'm not sure if she needs me for my trolley collecting skills or just wants to abuse her position...

Its a dilema we all face sooner or later brokensailor mate..

hmm only work so far but once the contract is signed im stuck there for a while and god knows i could do with the silly money they are willing to pay me for an easy job , she is out there living there so would be hard no to have contact and if i mention playing is she going to think thats all im thinking about and with draw the offer ? its eggshells hence the problem if it was any other company anywhere else in the wolrd id be off tomo

If you want the job, then tell her straight, no play. If she doesn't like that and pulls the offer, it was never going to work out anyway.

You can't mix business and friendship like that, it will always end in tears.

I'm only allowed outside with the big hood up... Inside I scare the old ladies, they wet themselves, the floor becomes a hazard... the insurance goes up..

Looks like were doomed! Outside they just leave it and blame the smell on rats...
